I'm 30 yrs old and beginning a focused weight training program. Is it too early to consider using a compound such as SD to maximize lean muscle mass?

If you are just getting into weight training, then yes it's far too early to consider using SD, or any other anabolic. Try to get your training and diet in order. Food is key! BTW I'll move this into the Anabolics forum for you.

I've gone from 200 lbs. to 180 in 7 months simply by eating clean. Now I would like to add some lean mass gains. I've only been lifting regularly for a short time.

I've heard of the "beginner's window" that you enjoy in the onset of serious training, guess I'm there. Gains are coming steadily and aesthetically I'm enjoying the new growth I see. Energy and wellbeing have increased dramatically since I got my diet in check. I eat like a madman ! When will I be able to determine it is time to add SD or another cycle to the equation?

if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If your making gains doing what your doing then no need to add at this point IMO. I would start will some form of Creatine first and take that as far as I could before anything else.

Right now I'm using creatine ethel ester. Noticing marked hardening and some volumizing. Also supplement with whey isolate before and after workouts. before bed/last meal is probolic sr.

I would only consider the use of SD when you cannot gain anymore naturally, its quite a harsh compound. Saying that my friend was training for 3 months, brought some SD and made some good gains, its your call, but I would recommend thorough research before making your decision bro.

I cant see any reason why you should need it withing your first couple of years of training. If you really want to get ahead diet is the thing to study, if you have the money hire Bobo.

definatly wait. Focus now on getting your diet down, and if you can afford it, hire Bobo to help you out and take alot of the confusion of what to eat out of your head...this way for future bulking, you know what to do.

I waited about 3 yrs before I did anything except creatine.
Trust us...it's to your benefit.

You can get great gains your first year.... I was 185 lbs at 5'8" with a gutt and never lifted..... I went on a diet and lost 25 lbs in about 8 months... Once I got down to 160 my gutt was flat... I then started working out 4 days a week and maybe took two weeks off during the hole year... One year later I was back at 185 lbs. And to me, it's all muscle..... I was also at a 34 waist before I started, I'm now in a 32..... Keep the faith, you will grow fast in your first year as long as you eat right, train right and get plenty of sleep...... Thats my two cents.

Yeah, if you've got the money to spend on an SD cycle and ancillaries - put it toward training with a guy like Bobo, that info will be with you for life.
