Schwarzenegger not running in California

I was just watching FOX news. They say Arnold won't be running as governor of California. I'm slightly dissapointed. Because I think he probably had a good chance.

He was winning in the initial polls. He had over 65% of the vote of the people in California, I wonder what made him change his mind.

Anyone have confirmation on this?

I first heard it on fox news and then on Drudge. I don't think it will be covered anymore just because it's out in the open. I think he's putting his support behind someone, a moderate Republican with views similar to his.

Ive been hearing he was too busy this year, wants to focus on family, and will definitely not run this year, a few weeks back. He is, however, considering running in the next election.

I think maybe this is PR hype, gaining him even more support and anticipation for when he does run next election. One possibility anyway

It caught me totally off guard. Drudge is usually a reliable source. He has the news before it happens.

Anyway, if I was a Californian I'd vote for him.

BUMP on him running, saw it yesterday on CNN.com, as well as with Gary Coleman and Larry Flynt (Hustler Magazine).

So far Larry Flynt has the best one liner of the recall election, "Even though I am paralyzed from the waist down I am more fit to run California that Davis who is paralyzed from the neck up!"

the news organizations were the only ones that said arnold wasn't running

he himself said he was going to announce it on the tonight show on wednesday

and i'm glad he's running :) MAYBE just MAYBE a very small faction of a fraction of a miniscule chance that steroids in california could become legal in more instances or at least no longer classified as heroine... but i seriously doubt it; but the chance is there moreso than any other candidate you have to admit :)

Ain't gonna happen.

If you read his books, he's supposedely against the use of AAS (though he used them in the past). And, the public thinks they're evil, so there's no chance of him ever doing this if he wants to be re-elected, or elected to a higher office.

here in california everybody loves him as terminator or mr olympia , not sure about his political experiences , but would love to see some policies about steroids HEHE:rolleyes: , well the governer can do a good job with that
