SARMs physiology

Can someone explain how sarms can somehow build muscle while also prevent muscle wasting? When you work out you break down muscle *atrophy*, then repair the muscle fibers which in turn grows your muscles.

The very nature of Sarms would prevent muscle wasting therefore how on earth do they build muscle?

Lastly, to what extent do sarms prevent muscle wasting? Could you be in a 1,000 calorie defecit and still maintain the same muscle?

That’s not really how it works. Being anti-catabolic does not mean it inhibits muscle growth or hypertrophy. Also, everything has its limits; anti-catabolic doesn’t mean that you can not eat not lose muscle, you just may be able to get away with a little more drastic deficit and/or more training frequency/volume.

Also, research the concept of (increasing) nitrogen retention. Interdasting stuff.

Yes and it increases protein synthesis. People who have muscle wasting diseases have extremely poor nitrogen retention and protein synthesis (usually) could also be other factors.
