Chest training went really well today. I will see how I feel tomorrow because I tried the incline press machine today. I am hoping that I will have found something extra to help with the upper chest. But the biggest note, I weighed in at 200 even! Don't know how long that will last, but it was there, dammit! LOL

I will probably weigh in at 197 by Friday, but that will be ok. Then, I will start the mini cut. I will lay out the general diet plan for that this weekend. Also have some training revisions to put up as well. Have a good night!
 
Well, boys, firing this bytch back up again. Currently, I am in the last week of a 3 week mini cut. I had TJ look at me Thursday and he was pretty happy. Said my bodyfat was at a real good place to begin a prep.

After this week I will be 12 weeks out. I am currently carb cycling and that alone allowed me to lose 6 lbs in 2 weeks with no cardio. Since I have accepted my size won't be where I want it to be, TJ suggested I just come in conditioned as hell. So I will continue to carb cycle with a few minor changes such as adding in during training carbs to bring my lower carb days to around 200. I will also be getting in enough cals on low carb days to be at about 3100 or so and go from there. Tuesday's are my carb refeed day because the chest needs help. So I will be working super hard to hopefully bring it up. He likes my back and shoulders a lot, so I am just trying to put it all together.
 
Did some more reading and nailed down how I want to handle power leg days. I squatted 300 last week fairly easily, so the percents from that are what I am basing my power days around.

Squats: 210x5, 220x5, 230x5, 240x5, 240x7. Dropped the weight down to 195 and killed a set of 20 and hit a goal of my bodyweight on the bar for 20. Now the hard work will be starting.

Romanian Deadlifts: 135x6, 165x6, 195x6, 225x12. I could have done more but it felt pointless and I obviously should have started higher.

Paused Squats: 3 sets of 5 with 160. Each rep with a 3 second pause at the bottom.

Finished with hack squat machine/leg curl superset for 2 runs.
 
Chest training went pretty well this morning. Today was also my high carb day, I am hoping the extra calories were put to good use

Incline Bench: 140x5, 150x5, 160x5, 160x5, 160x7

Incline Dumbbell Press: used an adjustable bench to get a higher angle. Each rep done with 4 second negatives. 70x7.5, 6.5, 75x3.5. The half is I controlled the negative for 4 seconds and just couldn't press it back up. 55x7 and added in a 2 second flex at top

One arm smith machine reverse grip bench: only 2 sets of 8. A 10 on each side and 3 second negatives and flexes at the top

Nautilus Incline Bench: did them one arm with non working arm holding the weight extended out. Worked to 2 45s x 8 with good squeezes

Incline Flyes: 2 sets of 10 with the 35s. 3 second negative each rep
 
"Nautilus Incline Bench", hm, sounds exotic. I imagine benching a small yellow submarine, LOL.

Yeah, I've definitely never heard anyone say that except myself. Do you do pec flys or cable flys? I do both to stimulate growth in my chest since I can't do much on the bench. I also do dumbbell flys unless my shoulder is hurting and Hammer Strength Incline Press Wide grip. It starts with your hands directly in front of your shoulders and then they end up almost touching at the top of the movement. Really works the pecs

Dude, I had one of those machines at my old gym. I would move the seat almost all the way down. I loved that thing. I have been doing all incline movements. I am seeing some change, just not near as fast as I would like.

Haha I can't do it all the way down. I usually have it at halfway.
 
Sorry about the lack of updates fellas. Cut is going well. Training is going well. Haven't even added cardio. Just carb cycling. I am about 9.5 weeks out

More updates. I am almost at the 7 week marker. I really wish my camera took better pics because I am pretty happy so far. Still no cardio, just diet manipulation and training hard.

Appreciate the kind words friends. Just hoping to be respectable when it comes to show time. Hopefully, the judges will like how I look when it comes time and I won't be hurt too much for giving up some weight.

Well considering your abs are uniform and not disproportionate like some peoples are, you should be good.

That's one major issue (for me) that doesn't come up too much. I can't stand abs that are different sizes and shapes.

Yeah - Damn. But what are those things on his abdomen? I've never seen those before....

The back fat/love handle area has gone down noticeably in 2 weeks in those photos. Dramatic.
