Amazing to me the weight you guys do and call it "lightweight" or a crappy workout! Awesome work man.
So is your gym really closing? That sucks balls.
I will be getting confirmation Monday. I am almost 100% positive, though

Time to buy a powercage and barbells and a bench. You just replace 75% of the stuff you need at a gym with $500.
I don't know if I would do as well at home. Going to the gym has become my "safe place". My refuge from work and my wife. Everybody knows that while I'm there, I'm not going to answer a phone call or a text.
Oh snap... Better gym than a strip club, LOL
What about a strip club IN a gym? Might be the new business model
Has to have booze too. I bet the main attraction would be where the girls squat. For a few bucks, spectators can do the spotting.![]()

While curling with a bar, the boner may get in the way...
A place like that, I would never get any work done....haha
It sounds crazy, but that might work in the right kind of market. You couldn't put it just anywhere, but it could work somewhere
Maybe a Hardcore Gay Bar/Gym would be the only thing I could think of that would work. Probably get rich lol. Put it in New York or LA.
Um yeah....naw....I will be ok not looking into that idea.....although I will admit you would probably make a sht ton of money jajajajaja
We could get lifted67 oil boy to run it for us...lmao

ryane87 do you remember there being a combination laundromat/bar when you were in Crown Point? I thought it was along 30, maybe actually Merrillville?
Either way, same idea. Two things that went together very well. Place was always busy (and I might have accidentally left my clothes I a washing machine a couple times)
Lol let him handle the talent and we'll just run the financial side and sit back and collect checks...
Leg training today. Changed up the schedule because I missed yesterday. Also, this will be the start of not doing squats for a month to let my hip heal up. I will be doing mobility work and a couple of squat related stretches.
Leg presses: 6 plates each side x12, +25s each side x12, 7 plates each side x12, +25s each side x10, and the last set 4 plates each side x22 3 second negative every rep. My legs hated me for a minute haha I did have a little soreness in my hip, but not like squatting
Barbell hack squat: 135x10, 155x10, 175x10, 185x9 arms inexplicably gave last set
Leg extension/standing calf raise machine superset: 135x12/ 3 plates each side x20, 150x12/ same except 18, 165x12 same except 15 reps
Got this done in about 40 minutes. Decent all things considered
Pretty good numbers for the Leg Press.
Alright gentlemen, today was chest and back superset day. If I ever miss a Monday, I normally just do legs Tuesday and double up on Wednesday with chest and back. Has been a LONG time since I have done this. After 3 days in a row of about 5-5:30 hours sleep, I was wore out this morning but I soldiered on. In 40 minutes at the gym this is what was accomplished:
Incline barbell press/behind-the-neck pull-ups with a 10 lb dumbbell at my ankles:
170x6/8+2, 175x4/6+2+2, 175x2/4+2+2+2, 155x7/4+2 I could tell during these it was going to be a LONG session even though I had little time
Reverse Grip Bench Press/90° barbell row:
175x4/175x5, 175x3/175x5, 155x7/175x5, 155x6/175x5 I was feeling done adter this but I finished with
low-pulley cable crossovers/straight arm lat pulldowns. 2 sets of supersets. I felt like I accomplished nothing besides being in the gym. I will tell you what, though, I was hungry ALL day...hahahl
Just read the workout.. where's the problem? Looks productive to me
Hes like me I think. Prefer to have over an hour in the gym per session.
I prefer 1.5, but you learn to burn it all up in a condensed time. For instance, with my job, after begging and pleading, we're now allowed 1.5 hours, but thats not to say I wont get 1,2 maybe three calls during my workout. So you do as much as you can. He did well for 45 minutes

Today's workout consisted of shoulders and tris supersetted again because I had about 40 minutes once more. Really wish I could spend more time
Dumbbell shoulder press/close grip bench press super set: 60x5/135x5, 60x5/155x5, 60x5/175x3, 60x6/175x3. Didn't expect much from close grip after chest yesterday
Side laterals/v-bar pressdowns: 25x8/110x12, 25x8/120x12, 25x10x130x10
Reverse Grip Front Raise/reversr grip pressdown: 20x10/90x10, same thing last 2 sets
Threw in some 1 armed movements for trid and a couple more sets of laterals and that was it
I was just telling someone else to grab an Ader belt, with someone with a jacked up back I can say it worked wonders.
Dead lift numbers look excellent BTW
What's an Ader Belt?
