Ok, Im new at this supp business and was wondering if someone could tell me the diffrence between a blend and a isolate and what each type is used for.

isolate is absorbed a bit quicker. I usually use the isolate post workout.

is a isolate mainly just one type of protein where as a blend is a mixture? Thanks for the info, thats good too know.

yup.

there are a ton of protein types.

I personally stick with whey pre and post workout and casien or some type of blend before bed.

a whey blend or a casien protein will be utlized slower and therefore is better used when you would like such an effect, i.e. while you sleep.

whey isolate is great when your body needs its protein NOW, i.e. pre and post workout.

Dang, I wish I knew this, ive been buying the blend only but will buy some isolate now for quick absorption

It's not like you couldn't use a blend all the time. I mean it has isolate in it, I'm sure. One of the reps might want to jump in for this one.

But when you boil down to it, protein is protein. In the end, your body is going to use it the same way.

Our Blend is just that: a blend of our Whey Concentrate and Whey Isolate.

The Whey Isolate has a higher concentration of protein than the others: 25g in just a 28.4g serving

wow thats pretty good. i have three 5 pound jugs and they are all blends and two of the littler jugs and those are blends as well
