ronnie coleman

nope, not gonna happen. Guest posing, interviews, and his sup company is all he will do from here on out. Love Ronnie and all, but there's no way he would or could.

Why would he compete ? He does not need to prove anything. 8x mr o is no joke!

the fact that he won so many with his huge gut when he had guys like shawn ray, kevin levrone, and flex wheeler up against him in their insane physiques is.....i guess if u got the biggest back in the game it doesnt matter how far your abs stick out....

The time Coleman compete against flex and shawn he got no gut. That came later with probably the invention of follistatin around 2001. See his videos? In the unbelievable he got not these huge gut. Then look cost of redemption. Off course he's off-season, but Jesus..... there's your gut. That time flex was nothing more then a shadow of himself.

He built up his reputation over the years and had a very successful career with 8x Mr.O. He was very kind and always had time for his fans to sign autograph and such. I hope his supplement company is a success too and builds up a good reputation just like him. I hope it's quality stuff like Gaspari Nutrition.

Am I the only one that still loves watching the old videos of him lifting at Metro then going over to the Black Eyes Pea for his PWO chicken, beans and cornbread? Sick life.

What's your point? Lol those photos could have been taken years ago, i have photos on my phone of Ronnie from when I met him and if I could upload them onto here I would, but he looks like nothing compared to the photos u posted

You can upload them. There's an option to upload the pics from your phone if you are using the AM app. When you go to leave a comment click the "+" button to upload

If those are recent photos he obviously seriously conditioned before a photo shoot for a company with his name on it.

That's not a recent photo. The photo of him pumped up and sitting down is from a Flex magazine photoshoot a few years back because I remember the article

no photo shop pic's please....we all know ronnie will most likely always be the king of bb. but in this sport our hero's can't stay on top forever.

Well in that case here is one that is recent and I have to ask you how many "well out of shape" people do you know who have arms as lean as that?

I absolutely love classic bodybuilders with the sucked in abdominals vs the current trend of g.h. bellies that look like beer bellies with a six pack.

I saw Ronnie at a fitness convention in Birmingham, UK last summer. He wasn't the freak of nature he used to be but he was still pretty big.

Not to derail but Dorian Yates was tiny compared to his old self when I saw him at the same convention. He just looked like an I'm shape construction worker... You know that old man strength...big forearms, arms, etc but nothing like his prime. I just hope when I'm his age I can be half that size still.

May be Ronnie is still cycling/cruising. May be not at the dosages he did take but still. And for some it's not just a job it becomes a lifestyle so he probably still diets and eats and from the looks of it deff trains

Yeah. Wouldn't you think they would practically have to? Wouldn't shut down be tremendous from that long of cruising?

Not to jump on the bandwagon. But arnold was perfect. He was the mos aesthetically pleasing out of any bodybuilder.

I dis agree.

Arnold wouldn't do so well these days based on his legs, they're just too small, but his upper body would hold up, maybe top 10 current day. I think Zane was the most aesthetically pleasing, Arnold's pecs way outshined everything else. I think his charisma won him a Sandow or two, as oppose to strictly physique, i.e. "beating out" Mike Mentzer in 1980.

I don't think Ronnie should come back. He may fair okay in the Masters Olympia, but not the regular Mr. Olympia, but Ronnie might be the greatest of all time in my book, as far as dominance.

Arnold in his prime WITH today's knowledge of nutrition, anabolics/HGH/insulin and dosages would dominate

I agree Arnold would definitely be a different type of monster given what you mentioned, but I still think he'd have trouble against the natural genetics of Ronnie Coleman. Drug for drug, nutrition for nutrition, I still think Ronnie would end up on top, particularly during the Ronnie era where size was everything.

Forget natural genetics, these guys nowadays are all 5ft 8 and full of insulin and hgh, i think they look like ****, all blocky and short and thick, the guys in arnies time looked so much better. I'm a fan of ronnie but alot of these current guys are a joke, i miss the old days

Look at Ronnie and Arnold's stats! I would say the biggest differences is leg size and height.. So like I said previously; could you imagine Arnold in his prime w/ today's nutrition, gear dosages, and the addition of HGH and insulin. Lets also add todays training facilities are much more advanced. Even Ronnie at the grimey Metro Flex gym had way more variety than 1970s Gold's Gym. Arnold would be ridiculous!

Light weight baby! Ain't nothin but a peanut!

People have no respect for the amount of detail that went into Ronnie's physique. It's NOT all about getting as big as humanly possible and then standing on stage, kids.

Although, I like the old-style physiques much more than today's. But today's physiques are so much more advanced.

because the market is advanced, its not a lack of respect but the majority hangs from the guys sack

The IFBB always moves forward with the times. Each generation is going to have a specific physique/look that the judges are looking for and I'm sure Joe Weider and Co. tell the judges what to look for. I think we are going back to a more aesthetics look with our current champion Phil Heath and new bodybuilders coming up such as Shawn Roden. Size and symmetry and we are really noticing the symmetry.

Look guys he has given so much to the sport, as many surgeries he has had he would be risking being crippled for life. So let him be he is in constant pain, I not a pro, I am a nurse, and know the surgeries, I just wish I had 1/2 his drive

Has anyone ever tried to eat enough food to maintain 290+lbs? No wonder pro bellies sticks out.. It ain't all growth gut.
