Rodja's XF/DCP Experience

Does that make your day seem better??

I'm at my computer lab at school trying to write up a lab report which I need to get off AM and get started on. Once I'm done and the self loathing is gone and I remember the level 3 super straight to your sack I'll feel less sorry for myself :nutkick:

Thanks man, I'm actually feeling pretty good about not being able to walk for 2 months. At least my equipment is fully functional:twisted:

She's not in town ATM, thank God. That would suck so bad to be temporarily out of order when I finally get me some ass.

Yeah, tell her to chill for a couple days. That would suck to have to explain the situation: No new chick that likes me/thinks I'm a killer, I normally would knock the back out of that, but my balls are ruined from me fighting, haha:twisted:

I can't imagine how much that would suck. I would better off not answering her call/txts than risking malfunction. F that sh!t.

Alright, so the sparring last night has re-aggravated the hammies, which sucks, but they still have about the same ROM, only more painful. I have really been working on my striking and this injury has hurt my progress. I feel strong physically, which is great, and I am also feeling strong mentally, which is even better. HEAT is worth it just for the mood enhancement; any fat loss is just a bonus.

I hope the "package" arrives today, seriously. It usually takes 4-5 days for me to get stuff from NP, but you're one state closer. If I see my mail man leaned out I'm going to ask some questions.

I got it on Tuesday, so we're all good.

5-mile run

MMA sparring with takedowns and grappling

Today's training was horrible. I had to stop twice while running on my normal hill route. Then, to top it off, a takedown went horribly wrong and my training partner did a knee-through pass right on my balls.

How fast did you run 5 miles?

He was passing your guard, and did the single knee forward into the sack?

I ran the 5-miles in around 37 minutes (horrible by my standards). He went for a single-leg TD and did a Greco sweep into a knee-through guard pass. He's not a dirty guy; it was just bad luck.

Comments: I have not been feeling great the past couple of days due to lack of sleep and more stress than I accustomed to. I am hoping that my refeed tonight and some extra rest will cure what ails me.

Since I had to withdraw from my fight, I am beginning a new routine geared more towards hypertrophy than strength. However, I am going to include many techniques to increase strength along with LBM.

3/25-Power
Deadlifts-365x3, 375x2
Clean and Jerk-155x5, 165x5
Unilateral LP-3x270x10

This was the first time I have done deadlifts since the summer and it felt great to do them. I was focusing on form and re-establishing the biomechanics of the lift as opposed to just shear numbers.

3/27-Arms/Delts
Standing BB Press-135x8, 145x8
Close-Grip BP-155x10, 165x8
BB Curls/Rope Pressdowns-95x10, 2x105x8/2x6x10

Decline DB Extensions/Hammer Curls-2x30x10/2x45x10
Cable Laterals/HS Preacher Curl-2x12, 3x12/80x12

This was one of the best pumps I have had, but that's because this is the first time that I have done this amount of volume in a LONG time. I forgot how much I miss just the feeling of lifting for pleasure.

It'll be a while before I get back to there. I am hoping to get to 425 within the next 3 months or so as I slowly add on LBM.

Sounds good. Did you say you were 8% BF? I've never seen anyone less then 10% BF pull anywhere near 425lbs, that'd be impressive.

I've actually never seen anyone lean (other then myself, but not currently) Dead more then 315lbs. Double kudos.

I'm bouncing around somewhere between 6-8% right now and I'm just trying to add pure LBM. The 375 came up pretty easily and was done without straps, but with a belt. I usually always use straps after I get to 315, but I am trying to only use a belt and chalk. It'll probably go up about 10 lbs or so per week for a month and then I'll add somewhere between 5-10 lbs to it every other week.

You've got to be joking.

You've got to be joking.

At my gym, sadly I'm not. The only people who do deads are high school kids and the weight they pull never go above 315lbs. Me and my workout buddies are the only ones that go 405 and above on a regular basis, and this isn't saying much, because my gym isn't full of big guys, but I by far, have the strongest Dead at my gym with a 515lbs personal best. I'm nowhere near the biggest guy, but no one else does deads.
