honestly, the only thing holding me back from running h drol is having to explain a loss in drive or function *gasp* to the significant other.
 
Lookin good. Looks like you added some mass (your back looks a lot bigger), stayed lean, and increased vascularity a lot. Keep it up bro.
 
22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th DAY

COMMENTS: Damn this week due to a bad flu I had to cut WO volume (I can only train 3 times vs the usual 5 times). Let's hope the body uses the unusual rest time in order to recover and grow better.

Another info: I ran out Cycle Assist but instead of crossing Sam-E during the end of cycle I decided to buy just come Milk Thistle and Hawthorn Berry and continue with em for this 4th week (I'll keep Sam-E just for PCT).


TRAINING: Monday and tuesday didn't train, yesterday (wednesday) I trained legs. Destroyed em with hack squats, leg press, leg extensions, leg curls and some calf and gluteus work (I didn't train biceps femoralis so intensively due to the deadlifts of the back WO)

POSITIVE SIDES: I feel like my body is a bit out of the usual pumped state due to the lack of training these last 3 days. I'm used to high volume and unfortunately this week I'll just train 3 times (legs- push movements- pull movements). And also this week I'm having untill now average kcals of 3300....I look bigger.....but again don't wanna transform this into a normal bulk. Trying to bring em to 3000 this week.

NEGATIVE SIDES: I think first real sides kicked in a bit: my shoulders articulations are destroyed and, in general, I feel my body like the one of a 70 years old man (everytime I move suddenly I have a cramp). I'm drinking around 3-4litres of water each day..... I'm not taking taurine though.

ISSUE: next week I'm having an unscheduled vacation week (where I go there will be a gym and so I can train and eat no worries). The only problem is I don't wanna have too much "things" to bring with me (was thinking bout halo and a strong multivitamin, omega 3 I'll buy there). So I was thinking about running the last 5th week without protections (that means no Milk Thistle and Hawthorn for 1 week...). What do you guys think?

You can easily notice how the majority of cases are simple auto suggestion.
Since when I started I just noticed an increase in libido...and if it goes down for 1 or 2 week will be good for my girl to "recover" :D

Thanks buddy! That's my aim! It's really difficult to recomp; for me it's a continuous game of balancing macros and kcals out every week. But let's hope!
 
definitely don't change what you're doing. if taking the extra stuff is helping, don't go without, especially at the end.

Well fact is: I had already planned that I would have ran out of cycle assist at the last week. So i was just thinking to use sam-E and omega 3s as protection......

I really don't think that a week without milk thistle and hawthorn berry will cause me serious damage to liver and to blood pressure.... I mean milk thistle is good stuff but we all know that it's not thought to be the definitive protection against methyls...
 
26th and 25th DAY

COMMENTS: Wonderful I banned flu (thx paracetamol)! Yesterday I was still feeling a bit weak but trained anyway, and pushed hard!


TRAINING: was "push" day, trained pec with heavy compound and some isolation then went over with a pair of compounds for shoulders and finished my triceps with skulls and dips.. CRAZYYYY PUMPS to my pec!!!

POSITIVE SIDES: My body is modified, you can notice it. I don't wanna fall in the placebo effect but I'm ready to bet my vascularization this week is even increased! Strenght is a bit up but not so much comparing to the last week.

NEGATIVE SIDES: Well after push day my body is worse than usual. Soreness is harder.....maybe is due to halo? Anyway I like it!

Yea, recomping requires strict diet and nutrient timing for sure. The h-drol doesn't hurt, though. My stats are almost exactly the same as yours (10 lb's heavier and 2-3% higher bf) and so far I've dropped about 2% bf in 16 days and added 4 lb of muscle while running the same cycle as you.

Anyway, keep up the good work and keep updating bro, I'll be following. :biggthumpup:

right. and h-drol is fairly mild so i bet you'll be fine.
 
So sorry guys!!! I've been out of my country for this last week and so couldn't update. Cycle is finished. I'll post a final review with photo comparison later. And will also update weekly about PCT!
 
FINAL REVIEW AND PICS COMPARISON

WEIGHT: 198. An increase of 10.4 lbs from the beginning of the cycle. As you can see in the photos the majority was lean mass but during the final week I ****ed up the diet due to unscheduled vacation and stayed the same muscle but put on more fat

BF: Around 10%. Went slightly up and I'm sure that is just due to the last week. With perfect diet and training a recomposition was a sure shot (as you can see untill the 4th week)

DIET/NUTRITION: In this 5 weeks I wanted to aim for a recomp diet. So slightly above maintenance kcals (around 3000kcal) and a ratio of 35-40%carb, 35%pro and 25%fat. I've been able to stick to this plan almost all the weeks apart the last one when I screwed up everything but it's ok...I just put a bit of bf. Anyway carbs under 40% and kcals slightly above maint. are the keys for me to loose fat and pack on muscle.

TRAINING: I always trained very high volume (talking about 25-30sets for big muscles and 16sets for smaller ones). H-drol gave me really a super strenght increase from week 3.

OVERALL COMMENTS:
As you can see from my last pic comparison, the clean diet, the hard training in synergy with the h-drol they all gave me nice results.

From the compound I think I received: more vascularization, a more intense pump, a good strenght boost and a perfect anabolic and anti catabolic environment for recomping. Translating these thing into "visive" language you can say I "hardened up".

Negative sides were zero during all cycle apart from a slight drop in libido last week and a slightly puffy nipple that is getting me worried in these days.

Was anyway a nice, smooth run.

Now let's see how PCT will bring me back, Bioforge and 6oxo should help me in an excellent manner. Stay tuned for post bloodworks.

Thanks! I'll now continue to recomp with a further increase in kcals in order to counterbalance the catabolic PCT state.

Moreover I'll try to take care specifically of my arms and lats, and pectorals asimmetry.
 
PCT: FIRST WEEK

WEIGHT: 198. No variations (intentionally) but I Lost a biiiit of bf.

BF: Around 10%

DIET/NUTRITION: 3100Kcals average with 40%,40% and 20% nutrition. Perfectly in check. I think I can bump slightly up the kcals.

TRAINING: This week was high volume training. So went on around 20-25 set for chest, same for back and slighlty less for other bodyparts.

COMMENTS: I'm stronger! My strenght is growing and I'm very happy bout it. I'm feeling super good. Never tired. Libido was down but Bioforge is beginning now, at the end of 1st week, to take it up.

hey man, thanks for following along, and I'm glad that this log was helpful :yes:

On a side note, i would like to add that my total testosterone was 538 as per a blood test taken a few months prior to the cycle.

Before the cycle: 538 ng/dl
After PCT: 688 ng/dl

That's a 150 point increase!

Granted, certain factors may have altered results (slightly) such as time of day the test was administered, amount of sleep the previous night etc., but there is no doubt that the Bioforge (and 6oxo) was a solid PCT choice and raised my T levels substantially!

I will be using the same PCT setup in June as well, stay tuned :)

Chest and shoulders are looking huge. When are you getting the blood work done (or are you waiting on the results)?

Also, how many days/week do you train each body part? it sounds like you've kept volume high during both the cycle and PCT.

I'm waiting the end of PCT (so more or less 10 days), then I'll wait a bit of time and will post the results. I know, you have to wait too guys, but I wanna give you the most accurate results available.

My training:
- each body part once a week.
- Every workout has around 16-25 sets for muscle, with 1 compound trained strength oriented and around 4-5 isolation for almost every head of the muscle
- rests are strictly controlled; around 1,20-1,30" for isolation and 3,00" for compounds.
- explosive concentric and controlled slow eccentric phase during compounds and controlled movement during isolation exercises.

My split usually looks like this:

mon: chest (bench day)
tue: back (deadlift day)
wed: quads-hams-calves (squat day)
thurs: shoulders
fri: biceps/triceps supersetted

I didn't cut the volume simply because I'm training always for around 50-60 minutes so I don't see danger for cortisol spiking. And I wanted to give my body a good reason to recover fast!!! :D
 
PCT ENDED (on the 13th of May)

WEIGHT: 199,32. +1.32

BF: Around 10%

Sorry for the lack of updates. I didn't write anything simply because PCT went smooth and perfect (actually finished 2 weeks ago). I already did bloodworks (exactly one week after PCT conclusion) and I'm waiting for results. So keep tuned!
 
AFTER PCT BLOODWORK

They've arrived. Here they are finally! I attach em and write them down for who have difficulty in interpreting them:

Free test: 18.10pg/ml (on 27pg/ml max)
Total test:8.95 ng/ml (on 9.0ng/ml max)
Estradiol: 47pg/ml (on 75pg/ml max) - high
Prolactin: 14.35 ng/ml (this bastard is high)
FSH: 3.61 mUI/ml
LH: 3.95 mUI/ml

wow, whats with the prolactin? Did that happen the last time you took the bioforge? Otherwise, a killer recovery.

I really dunno. Apart from halo cycle I don't see what could have increased prolactin so much....maybe it's Finasteride? I'm on it since last September.
