Thanks man. I just hope it is the hammy bc I have some stuff that actually seems like it could be a misdiagnoses and be sciatica. I am going to hit this hard and I am building up slow. If worst comes to worse I will bite the bullet, save up 1 million dollars, and get an MRI.

Feels really good today. I drove to work with a tennis ball under it and massaged it the whole commute in.
 
Hope that hammy gets better man.. On incline I got instantly stronger as soon as I set up like I was actually benching lol. Like digging in my shoulders and getting tight.
 
DMax, you are the man. I'm still lifting and the family is good. Haven't been able to go heavy on lower body due to that pinch I get that inflames the left hammy area. Family is good, sick kids with colds, but good. Things just have been hectic and quite frankly my training is depressing a little. I am going to try to pull 325 for 15 singles tomorrow to see what happens.

I am to believe my left femur/hip is all jammed causing issues. I have like zero internal rotation. I also have a hard time externally rotating it while standing(may be bc the internal).

I also weigh 197 now. So diet game is strong. I am trying super hard to fix my issues bc I really want to compete in July at my gyms first ever IPA meet.

The one where the guy says hamstrings are the dominant finishing muscle of the squat and tendinitis type stuff arises sounds a ton like me...crazy. I will be sure to try to unimpinge that hip and really fire up the glutes pre dead tomorrow.

Solid workout. Instead of going up to 80% of desired 1RM I decided to do speed work with a friendly bar since I am getting a little beat up. My plan for Thursday is to attempt high box squats to test the waters. I believe I am at 70% of desired max. That may be iffy due to being a wrapped free squat number. So a little autoregulation will be in play.

Just a great workout. Pulls got better as it went. I noticed that the injury can reinforce bad habits, so it is a mental thing to not anticipate the injury and change your movement pattern. I noticed when I would get past that I had the least discomfort. Loving all singles on deads. Tons of time to work on form!

I'm really liking how the reps improve as you go on the clusters of singles. Its effective.
 
Yep singles on deads is a great way to work em, lets you work on positioning a lot more then just trying to rep out weights. Good work.

Ya the SSPT DL chart work really did help improve my technique IMO. Good stuff if you stick with it.

Yea I've been neglecting it since trying to work on the hammy and adductors so much. I will figure out a switch up for a week or so.

Lol thanks man, and I really try to flex my triceps and make my arms long before the pull now. Every little bit helps with positioning!

All short rest and man, lock out was getting hard, and plus you can't really get too much momentum. Got my whole upper body feeling good and pumped.

Then I did some stuff for my hammy and glute area. I notice the bad hammy/glute tie in feels weak/little sketchy sore on one leg glute bridges. Not on two leg ones. Hoping to have a decent session on Friday. Someone at the gym mentioned using briefs helped them get through something similar. Maybe if I get the coin and this isn't healed that could be an idea, I dunno!

I think briefs would be a great idea for you. Let that issue heal up, and get that CNS primed to move some big weight.
 
I suggest titan superior boxer briefs. I have a pair and they are one of my fav pieces of gear. I get a good amount of support from them. Run ya about 65$.

Power pants were "eh". They don't come up high enough IMO BUT they'll still offer some resistance.

I think for 65$ its worth a try. They are by far better then the power pants. Not to mention they are the lowest grade briefs titan offers. I'd pick them any day of the week over the light inzer stuff.

I think the legless will suit you fine as well. Briefs with long legs can block you from opening your knees fully or even pull your knees in. The first time I wore predators I squatted like a stork.

But you can always roll the legs up really high and as you get used to them roll them progressively downward until you find where you like them. That's what I did when I bought my predators.

Box refers to the height of the briefs up your torso not the legs. Mine would be considered legless with a high torso to I can tighten my belt on them.
