Not sure if PR. I'd be willing to bet it is beltless but doesn't matter as much on this lift. Just trying to get dem lats.

I'm building some serious momentum. If I have a good squat session Tuesday I will be officially in the ****ing zone chief!

That's all fellas. Have a great weekend!

Oh, weight is 202(haven't been as cautious with food but doing okay).

Rob is killing it lately.

Back at it tomorrow. Like a dummy I mixed up some of the reps from week 4 and 5. I pull the workouts out of my phone and miffed it some. Not a huge deal, just kinda fix it this week and back to a normal week 7 next week.

Started to feel a little uncomfortable last rep. Notice the diffenece in how far each knee is able to push out. The leg that gets the sore hammy opens up about 2 inches less. Glad I did a front view. No arm pain with pinkieless grip still!
335 x 3@9 and again, little hamstring discomfort. Nothing bad, but it was on the outside as opposed to inside which is different. Gonna work on it.

And instead of being smart
255 x 2 and one assisted. That is a 2 rep PR, but I should have stopped. Form was not good and I just can't get my setup tight enough. The rest isn't written as I did many singles-triples with all different weights with someone helping with set up.

I left with my last couple set ups really tight. Unfortunately I was fatigued so there wasn't really much weight on the bar. Gonna try and see what it does next time.

Sorry for the wall of text.

If anyone has tips to open up that left hip I'm all ears! All I can think of is KStarr squat warm up thing.

Piriformis tightness?

You know, my right glute/hip area was a little tight this morning so I worked on it before I went to the gym. Maybe I lossened that side up so much it was looser than the side that felt fine...just speculating

It's a complex area. I'm mainly going off of experience with a tight piriformis and it "jamming" the hip from opening up all the way

That's a good call.

On a side not my bench set up work today has my low back a little stiff. It's cray

And done. Freaking sweet workout here. I didn't think I'd get there with pulls today. I was looking for a February meet but they all are at the end of the month and there is a possibility of a baby being born then(although likely early March) so I am undecided on if I will get a second meet this year. Mock meet in 3.5 weeks.

Thanks mofos and have a happy turkey day. Hopefully Dallas and Eagles tie and we all lol at them.

Nice work! You are on a roll, extra thanksgiving portions for everyone as a reward! ;) : D

You're really putting together some good work on the big 3 lately man. Some nice totals are coming you're way buddy. Awesome.

The time on the vid before and after the pulls really made it feel like a "Day in the Life of Rob" reality pilot. I think we should explore this. The pulls were good, too! Looks like it's time to up core work.

Live stream, anyone?

Dmax is in too if he can pay through PayPal. Doesn't want the wife checking his bank statements.

Haha I thought I hit stop when I walked over. The before video is just because of the syke up on a top set of deads doesn't involve camera work lol. I've been lazy and uploading from the phone so no edits on YouTube.

Yea I have been pondering adding like an active recovery workout on off days at home involving core work. Thanks brother man

Nice pullin Robbie, 5 bones is my goal for 2015. my body has a love/hate relationship with pullin for reps, but that's the only way I'll get there...

nice pulling man! i trim my vids or you would see me doing all kinds of stupid shyt before a set.

Thanks! And I have been lazy uploading from the phone lol

This is more true then u know

Lol so you are the spender? My wife is. She spends money like it is coming out of my wiener.

Pulling for reps takes a lot of mental bs for me before the lift haha. Good luck on your conquest!

I'm in on the 500 for 2015 club! Good stuff Rob, you are kicking a$S lately!

Thanks man, and we all gotta get through these numbers one at a time! Sure LnS and DMax like to chill and then catapult and then chill, repeat, but for us humans it is a little at a time :D

The problem is we both spend which gets us into trouble plus everytime I get money one of our cars breaks this time the Ford needs new ball joints tie rod and hub to the tune of 1300 bucks

My problem with weight is confidence( I have none) the weight get in my head plus I tend to over think things like form like this past month I could have kept the weight heavy but I chose to do wrapless work and beltless work we'll see Saturday if I ****ed up or not :-)

Your doing great in here rob u have the confidence and momentum keep riding it as long as u can bro

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanks for the kind words my good man. I have a good amount of confidence with weights because I try to make weight jumps that I really think I can hit. It's cliche but I focus on building and building and spend only a little time testing. I do take slightly more risk with bench, but that is bc I do not fear a harsh recovery. Even if you are off a little when you get back you will be fine. You got this big dog. Make smart jumps, or listen to the crew haha

Happy thanksgiving brother!

Was supposed to do this first but packed gym.

Occluded biceps/triceps

Solid workout today. New grip still leaving my elbow releived for squats, but biceps a little meh on bench. Nothing bad, but something to pay attention to.

Yupp, I get zero pop with my heels down on bench too. I don't like benching in Oly shoes.

Good workout, rob. My gym was crowded too! Waited 15 minutes for a rack so two women could quarter squat 95lbs in their nike romaleos...

haha, good way to look at it Rob!!!
Be like me: my best bench days are when I don't bench and DL instead

Sherman benches with his feet completely flat on the ground, 472@ 230~ body weight. He does get leg drive though, you have to watch him. Gets a nice chest sink Dan green style then just explodes leg drive and off the chest. Once he starts coaching me more (read, after I heal up/this winter) ill report back more.

You've been beasting it lately dude.
