Invalid Link Removed, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar who won five championships with the team and was often compared to Michael Jordan, died on Sunday in a helicopter crash. He was 41.

Officials confirm to Variety that Bryant was a passenger on board a helicopter that crashed in the Los Angeles County suburb of Calabasas.
 
When I saw this yesterday I was actually I'm shock. As a lifelong Celtics fan, Kobe was often "the enemy". Since he retired though, it seems like he was working hard to give back and do good things. This was so sudden and tragic, it feels pretty surreal.
 
im still in shocked .. he was just starting out and spreading beyond basketball
