Research on cissus and joints?

Is there any results from research made on cissus and effects on joints and ligaments as stated? I like the effects but I have friends that wants evidence:study:

In a basic summary, Cissus blocks the reception of certain pro-inflammatory Cytokines (proteinacous compounds which are involved in a number of immune responses),as well as selective glucocorticoids which degrade bone, muscle, and connective tissue (cortisol is the most famously lamented one). As opposed to taking a reactive approach, Cissus takes a proactive role in simultaneously preventing and healing such degradation.
