Big thanks to Mutant and @cheftepesh1 for selecting me to review Mutant Mind Fk.

The profile on this product is SICK. Based on the ingredients it's about as well rounded as they come with a solid Nootropic profile. I take nootropics to assist my work performance so I'm interested if I can drop those and just take this solo. I lift MWF so I'll continue the nootropics TTh.

I'm going to provide general thoughts as I progress on this product and do a detailed review at the end.

The product also came with a free shaker. It's not the most solid shaker I've ever had, but then again any shaker cup gets the jobs done.

I received the Tropic Punch flavor so here we go!

First workout in the bank.

The product does not have a strong flavor which at first sip I thought "meh". I mixed with half the shaker cup of water. As I continued to drink I think it's the perfect flavor strength. Who is drinking a pre-workout to sip on it so you really just don't want it disgusting. Additionally I typically toss in other things being that I workout in the AM (Aminos, Carbs, etc). Because of that the flavoring is spot on to work for near everyone. I will say I didn't get a solid "Tropical Punch" flavoring to it, but whatever it tasted like to me wasn't a bad flavor.

Performance wise this was not my best day. It would be easy to say "well you tried a new pre so that's the problem", but I don't believe that to be true. It's been hit and miss lately if my body wakes up. More miss than hit of late. I couldn't get my CNS in gear, but mentally I was zoned in which is definitely different. Typically when my CNS doesn't get with the program my mental state falls apart, but not this morning. I powered through refusing to give up and I give credit to MindFk for this.

Looking forward to Wednesday giving this another go.

Let’s see how you do when you’re totally in the game. We all have those bad workouts

Second workout was smashed.

I mixed this with my typical other pre-workout items and thought it was perfect. The subtle flavor goes perfectly mixed with other powders/flavors.

I noticed a very determined mental state. Nothing was going to deter me or pull me away. I didn't feel over stimmed like I've noticed on other products, but a clean energy. I noticed NO crash from this which I'm very happy with.

This product isn't marketed for pumps (despite having some ingredients), but I did notice a good pump as well.

Looking forward to Friday to give this another go!

Third workout in the bank. My energy level I cannot seem to get on par (not related to the product), but determination is the best I've ever had. I'm really enjoying this product so far. The "must get it done" is top notch.

Got a solid session in on Monday.

I've noticed this seemed to have a slower ramp-up than a typical pre-workout. Makes me wonder if Paraxanthine is slower acting than typical caffeine. I'll try taking this an hour before my workout instead of the typical 30 and see what happens.

I again noticed a solid mental drive and determination. There was no chance I was giving up or not getting the weight up. I usually end up on my phone during longer rest times and I forgot my phone was even with me.

I suck when I have my phone around, because I am always trying to change the music.

Same here! I almost need to leave my phone somewhere else when I workout but 9 times out of 10 never do this :ROFLMAO:

Cutler says he always left his phone in his car. I hate always seeing people on theirs on the gym. I was on the stairs the other day looked around and counted 6 of the 7 people on machines in front me on their phones while I was dripping sweat so I'm always sorta self concious about mine. I grab it, log my weight/set, then toss it back in my gym bag. most of my rest period is spent trying not to puke, catching my breath, looking in the mirror to decide whether the cut is working lol.

This is why I built my own gym in my basement. When I was a trainer this would drive me nuts.

Taking this more than 30 minutes before workout is the sweet spot. I notice caffeine hits in around 30 minutes while this product takes closer to an hour.

Again a high mental drive and focus. The energy is there, but it's not a kick in your face like some products are.

End result was a solid workout in the zone. Very pleased so far with this product. My sleep has not been on point lately (not sure why yet), but once I get that dialed in I expect the workouts to be far better with more juicy deets.

Hit a session Saturday and Monday.

Saturday felt better as my sleep was closer to normal, but not quite fixed.

This morning we finally are in action. Sleep was 90% where it should be for quality and I could tell. The energy was there.

As previously mentioned I noticed this is not a kick in the pants pre. It's a solid ramp into it working, and not a noticeable "BOOM YOU"RE PRE HAS ARRIVED". The determination and mental drive is the best I've done. My last set of squats my body was saying "you're done bro". My mind then said "sit down and shut up" and I got all the reps. Pumps were better today as well and there is no crash. I always workout in the AM so the no crash is a huge win in my book. It's not ideal to show up at work and then be ready to nap. This products keeps me ready to go and has definitely boosted productivity at work.

That’s one of the things I
Like about this and madness. It hits slowly.
It’s not that boom I have energy and then it’s gone. It’s wow I feel something and then keeps going.

Powered through a session this morning despite being sick which hurt sleep.

Noticed the "I refuse to give up" mentality despite knowing I was not 100%. Mentally I was again in the zone which is impressive being that my body was elsewhere. Being that I've sleep dialed in (despite sickness) I'm looking forward to being over the sickness and seeing where we go.

Sometimes for me it's a mental thing. I'm addicted to working out and sticking to my routine that even if I'm not 100%, just working out helps ease my mind and anxiety :ROFLMAO:

Same. When I was out after my surgeries it killed me. It a zen thing for me. Let’s me work out my anger and stress.

Had to take a few days off due to what had to have been a sinus infection.

Got back at it this morning.

Could have been that I was not 100%, but physically I just wasn't feeling it. I wanted to be there and train hard, but the energy level wasn't there. I'm wondering if the caffeine substitute doesn't hit all the same receptors as caffeine. As such I'm wondering if I'm actually suffering minor caffeine withdrawals.

I've noticed the product mentally gets me in the zone head wise, but with energy level being low I'm also mentally not in the zone if that makes sense.

off days happen. sometimes its better to move and get work in anyways when you're under the weather, sometimes its better to rest. but I think most would agree that as much as 9 out of 10 sessions start out as discipline to build something that is really enjoyable on that 10th trip when all faculties align with the stars and you have that amazing gym session. I know that more than half the time when I'm headed to the gym, I am doing it out of discipline, but I have rituals that get my mind in the zone whether I'm stimmed up or not. When I get into the locker room and pull on my knee sleeves, or lace up my shoes, with headphones on, my brain immediatley clicks over to gametime as though I'm about to walk onto the field and before I know it, each set feels like a new competition. <-- but getting in the door and into the locker room to change is the discipline part.

this is also why I've realized that USUALLY I prefer to lift alone because it is my game, even if I'm only competing with myself, my 15+ years of logs, my past, my future, my ghost, I have a mindset that I'm there to compete and most of my lifting buddies don't have that same desire or capacity.

Thanks Dustin. Love the insight there and will take it to heart.

Rocked a session today. In the zone with pumps to come with it. I noticed I felt weaker than I should, but a combination of mentally coming to do battle and remember the WWOD (wise words of Dustin) I powered though.

I mentioned before, but it's worth noting again. This product seems to creep up on you. When I start the session it feels like I have less energy than when I finish. Most of this is probably in my head, but it's a definite difference to other pre's. With others it's the opposite. I'll start the session strong (jacked up on stims) and as it goes on the energy level winds down.

Based on that my one change to this pre would be maybe 50-100mg caffeine. Just enough to give a small boost to when the rest kicks in. This would only apply to an morning lifter such as myself. If training in the afternoons or 2+ hours after waking up this thing is nuts on.
