The guy at my local nutrtion store told me that not only epi wouldnt get rid of gyno it would make it worse! How do these people get jobs?
 
Because no one else will stand there for $8 an hour. I have never been to a store where they knew anything about what they were selling. I had this one manager of a GNC try to tell me that Leukic was more anabolic than steroids.

I said did fvckin Muscletech pay you to say that?? She said no its true it says it on the bottle.

It's a shame I can't work in every store.. ;)

Got me 4 new clients to work with this summer after reprogramming them from the GNC Experience..
 
Also, most of their employees don't even look like they touch a weight. The one down here the guy always asks me what is good and what works. $10 an answer buddy. lol
 
Had a GNC guy who looked like a pre-op Al Roker trying to tell me what to buy and eat to "get all cut up". I wanted to hit him and make his chins wiggle.
 
lol I know exactly what you guys mean! It is just rediculous that that person can sell that kind of stuff to anyone and those people could do a lot of damage to themselves
 
I manage a GNC and Im actually crying and curled in the fetal position right now due to the above posts. Actually, I completely agree with you. Probably less than 1% of GNC employees actually work out. I tell people the truth and honestly thats not the best idea for increasing sales, but my thought is if they know Im being honest, they'll come back just for the knowledge they than can get from me. I love it when people say "what do you take?". I say "I TAKE 7-8 meals per day. I TAKE 2 hours four days a week to kill myself with heavy free weights. I TAKE 2 hours on my 2 off days to cook my food. I TAKE trips to the grocery store and buy only grilled chicken, brown rice, oatmeal, and 93% lean beef." They are some people that actually look like they're trying (and not just thinking they'll pop a pill and be Mr.O by tommorrow night). For those people, Ill write out meal plans by bodyweight and show them what basic supps they need. I send plenty to Nutraplanet and others to the usplabs site to check out cissus since gluc/chond isnt working for them. Again, Im way in the minority, so dont go listening to any GNC employees because of me, but they're are a few of us out there that will be honest with you.
 
I like to go into those shops and ask questions. It's funny to hear them talk in circles but again your paying these people $7/hour so what can you do.
 
Very true. Partimers only make 5.15 and with commission probably around 7, so you really cant get good help for that price.

Well I don't think they can afford to pay anyone who knows what they are talking about. They don't care if you are in shape or know anything at all about health and fitness. GNC just needs bodies to man the stores, you your breathing and can work a cash register, you can work there. The people behind the counter are there just to make money and commisions on dumb newbies. They don't care about anything elese except taking home a biger paycheck and more commisions. But really who can blame them because they really don't make much money to begin with!.

JK dude, I'm seriously glad you are out there. Let's all start supplement stores and drive GNC out of business. lol
