Redcon1 Mental trigger input

Anyone have any experience with this pre-workout?

I currently take zero stims throughout a week (besides 1-2 cups of green tea) but would like something that doesn't amp me up too much but more allows me to focus on the work I'm trying to do (body part I'm training at that moment).

If anyone has any input or thoughts on this preworkout or maybe even something you like better for this specific purpose please inform me.

I have not used it. But looking at the formula, it isn't bad, but there are better options out there that will give you the same effects you looking for; clean energy with an emphasis on focus. NootrpiMax is something I would look into.

Bacognize® is shown to activate 5HT (serotonin) receptors that are vital to optimal cognitive function. Furthermore, the 300mg dose used here has been shown in clinical trials improved memory acquisition and retention in healthy older adults.

Choline supplements are one of the top nootropics around when it comes to enhancing focus during gym sessions, work, studying, or basically anything else. Performax has spared no expense opting for one of the most bioavailable forms in CDP-Choline

These are just some of the ingredients and you will also find caffeine and Huperzine A to name a few. A single cap is quite effective to aid in work, focus, studying, and training and two caps people have reported in logs is great for almost an entire work day.

Focus XT is another product worth mentioning.

Thanks for the input brother. I appreciate you taking the time to look into the product even though you haven't tried it.

Thanks for the recommendations also, if you believe them to be better I will definitely have a look and see what will be the best fit for me.

I'll be slightly more blunt - most of that product in underdosed. It seemingly just relies on Caffeine, and the rest is just too low to have much of an effect.

If you are open to other products, look into SNS Focus XT, Elixir or NootropiMax.

This. Besides the caffeine and theacrine, there's not that much going on, and what is is pretty underdosed. There used to be Noopept, which was nice, but their label on their website doesn't have Noopept on the new label. The l-dopa dose is tiny, as is the Alpha-GPC dose, and the bioperine isn't really serving any purpose in the formula IMO, at least not anything major. As it's been mentioned, NootropiMax would be a better option with similar ingredients, only better dosed, and with more beneficial ingredients. Both have caffeine (MT has 250mg while NootropiMax has about 260mg between the anhydrous and dicaffeine malate), both have 50mg Theacrine, and both have a premium choline source, except NootropiMax has an effective 250mg CDP-Choline while MT only has 27mg (90% of 30mg) Alpha-GPC, which is a very small dose. Additionally, NootropiMax gives you other ingredients that are syngergistic with caffeine like theanine and L-ornithine HCL, as well as other beneficial Nootropic ingredients like huperzine and bacopa. You're getting a lot more for your money with NootropiMax, as it has a better, more complete formula IMO, and is also similarly priced, if not more affordable.

And Jiigzz,

Awesome, I appreciate the honest answers gentlemen. Solid info, thanks for steering me in a better direction and saving my wallet a little at the same time. 250-260mg caffeine is probably going to feel like a **** load for me as I almost never have caffeine in my normal diet (other than 1-2 green teas per week).

Not a problem man.

We have a stim free and stimmed version of Focus Xt, but if you want to try for a decent price, Nutraplanet has Focus XT Pina Colada for $13.99 at the moment for a months supply.

I understand. You could always start with 1/2 a serving (1 capsule instead of 2) and see how that treats you. The thing about a lot of nootropic supplements, at least NootropiMax, is that it's not a very "harsh" or "strong" stimulant effect, but more of that dialed-in focused energy that you mentioned you're looking for (some users have noted that they enjoyed it pre-workout with the focus it gives). Ingredients like l-theanine can help "balance" the caffeine, making for a "cleaner" stimulant effect, and other ingredients in NootropiMax like bacopa and sceletium can also help create a calm and focused energy when paired with the caffeine. If you do find that the 250-260mg caffeine is too much for you, you could always go with half a serving, which is one reason you want a well-formulated supplement; you don't want to start with under-dosed ingredients at a full serving, or they'll be even more under-dosed at half a serving.

Focus XT is another good option that's been mentioned ITT. I suppose it also depends on if you want pills or powder.

Awesome guys, I'll probably start with a half dose of whichever I decide and assess from there.

Now the hard part deciding between the focus xt and the nootropimax!!

I have not used nootropimax but I have a long history with Focus XT. I used to do a scoop of Focus XT stim free with a scoop of the original C4(with DMAA) before hockey games (I played goalie so focus was imperative to my performance) and that stack gave me some of the best games of my life! Definitely recommend Focus XT.

Nice!! Do you still use it before training at all to help with focusing on contractions??

I have used it before many lifting sessions with good results. I personally always stacked the stim free version with a stim based pre (Ive never used the stim version), but the difference is noticeable when I do/don't use the Focus XT. It is a really solid product. If you're not super big on stims, then the 200mg caffeine in the regular version should be a good level for you. I personally liked a little more stim so I stacked it. I've had great results with it and I keep a tub on hand all the time. I also like it before study sessions for school. Its a really versatile product.

Awesome brother, thanks a lot for the info I'll be giving the product a try. Hope I will have some results similar to yours.

I can manage to get solid training days in w/o pre workouts so I'm going to try to keep that going. I've never ran anything nootropic related so I'm excited to see if this can really help with that "mind-muscle" connection to help with growth!!

Hopefully you'll enjoy it! I've sampled it out to a few of my friends who are also big on the nootropic game and they enjoyed it. Continuous usage also increases the effects of it (atleast that is why I've found). So as you near the end of your first tub the effects will be even greater than the first dosage you took. I believe a lot of that is the ALCAR building up from what I've read. Definitely report back and let us know how you like it!

Many nootropic ingredients do work better over time. As you mentioned, ALCAR (in FXT) seems to be this way, and studies have also shown that ingredients like bacopa (in NM), and even choline (in FXT and NM) and Noopept (in NM) are more effective with continued use than acutely.

Hm I've always used noopept sporadically for study sessions. Might need to try consistent dosing then!

I'm pretty sure that it was only an animal study, but it's still interesting. Also, animal studies have noted that a combination of paracetam (not Noopept, but they're often viewed similarly) and choline was superior to either alone.

I usually take noopept with a choline source so that should work well. Hm. May have an experiment to try!

I'll for sure report back with my experience, thanks again for all the input and help guys.
