Yes you read that correctly, a product called Total War by Redcon1 causes a heart attack. But when the CEO of Redcon1 is under 14 federal indictments for lacing dietary supplements with drugs it's to be expected. Shame on Aaron Singerman for putting money before people's health. Watch the video below.

I really think pre-workouts are going overboard with caffeine contents. I don't know much about this particular one but I see many that have 300+mg caffeine. For me, I only need a cup of coffee, but when I do buy a pre-workout I like it for the pump effects, not just the energy. And most people are still consuming energy drinks and coffee throughout the day on top of their preworkout.

This is a very unfortunate story, hope to see LESS news like this as we don't need the government to put a limit on the amount of caffeine allowed in supps. Plus, we all know people will go overboard thinking they're invincible - which is just the sad reality we live in.

I agree that this is sad, but people also need to be accountable for their own decisions. It reminds me of the guy a few years ago that had a heart attack from Red Bull. Everyone was complaining that Red Bull was bad, but failed to see how many Red Bull’s the guy drank at the time. People have to also have some accountability for their decisions and actions. They can clearly see on the label the amount of stims ( as long as the label states what’s truly in it) in the product and if they choose to use it misuse they made that choice.

it always brings me back to the pregnant woman who drank a quart of jack daniels everyday of her pregnancy and then sued when baby was born with birth defects--she said she didn't know a quart of liquor everyday of pregnancy would harm baby---true story...this is why there are warnings on liquor bottle labels now.

Yeah I definitely wasn't trying to say not to hold people accountable for their own actions. The contents are always listed on the bottles and we should all be careful. I was just saying it's a sad story and sh** like this will always happen cause people do dumb sh** when they're young and feel invincible.

I still think a lot of pre-workouts have too much caffeine, but there are still plenty with the perfect amount for most people so I'm not hatin'.

I feel that TikTok, social media, and these ridiculous attention-seeking challenges are the real danger.

I feel like it’s natural selection. People are dumb as hell. Sad thing is that they’re just gonna ruin it for everyone else.
@thebigt gave a great example. Another one is “contents is hot” on coffee cups. After someone sued for coffee burning them that got put on. Go figure, coffee burns... who would’ve thought.

it would be impossible to ban all the stuff that stupid people could find to hurt themselves with...

This is user-error, plain and simple.

She’s also a ‘dancer’ …I don’t think we’ve heard the whole story.

My training partner drank a monster 30 mins before the gym yesterday and then dry scoops my I am supreme. I didn't know he had one until after. But he was just fine.

This girl probably had a low stim tolerance and shouldn't have started with a 400mg caffeine product nor dry scooping. If she mixed with water and sipped , she could have assessed her tolerance. That's why I personally never dry scoop. But yeah, as Zoo said, tic tok is just poison lol

I’ve seen dry scooping over 12 years ago…It ain’t even anything new…Fuk social media 🤦‍♂️

All the bros dry scooping jack3d lol. Agreed.

That being said, has anyone tried total war? I've tried it and it's 5/10. Literally feels like it's 80% beta alanine

wow never heard this one .. but yeah she was just looking for $$ and shame what was done to the baby

greed suxs overall and don't know if your already wealthy or is financially stable .. why do such things ( referring to ceo's over spiking products to sell - not saying just about redcon1 )

Not saying I approve the spiking at all, but sometimes the spiking of the product is the only reason it sells. Like with Excelsior. And I don't think they even have other products or at least I've never heard of them.

or it could be she was just that plain old stupid or didn't give a f*ck[about herself or her baby]....i think there are a whole lot of just plain old stupid people in this country, and if we start trying to ban things that stupid people could possibly harm themselves with the list is going to be very long.

because someone used gasoline to burn down a house is no reason people should be yelling to ban gasoline....geez

This is now a top trending story in my Google news feed!!….Not good for us responsible gym rats!

Anyone remember the “warning explicit lyrics” on CD’s ?? … Pre Workouts bout to have those giant stickers on em’ …That is, unless these dumb fuks don’t just end up getting them banned for US…

Supplement industry is fucked because of these idiots.

My Juice Daddy preworkout that is in development is stim heavy and a large part of the label design is covering it in cautions and warnings because of this sort of behavior.

All your stuff has always had such a rad look to it…So I feel ya! I’m the kinda guy that’s always been into the artwork/liner notes of cd’s, records…When iTunes etc. was just getting started, I was like “wow so no one wants the album/physical product etc. anymore!?”

Thanks, bro! You're really going to like the new look. It absolutely destroys all previous iterations of my product artwork. But yeah I'm just like you in that sense. I love presentation and having the tangible object in hand (at least for reading).

Total War is labeled to have only 250mgs...

5% Nutrition's 5150 older formula had 505mgs... she should work her way up to that one for the big lawsuit payout.

anyone who thinks the government bans stuff because they are looking out for us is a fool...banning stuff is just a reminder that they have the power.

It's not redcon fault, it's the dumbass girls fault and I highly suspect she was on something else too.

Back when I quit drinking alcohol I started drinking coffee in its place. 6-8 cups was average and there were plenty of days I drank a whole 12 cup pot. It's approximately 100mg caffeine per cup of the brand I use. 600-800 daily and up to 1200. I also would occasionally use a pre workout.

Unless she dryscooped half the bottle there is something else going on.

And before anyone starts freaking out that I drink too much coffee I've switched to decaf lol

I didn't do the meetings or rehab, I just locked myself in the house for 2 weeks and drank coffee and soda, ate Chinese food and Oreos and rotated ice packs till I stopped feeling shitty on day 10. The coffee continued as my go to beverage and I started using it in place of any situation I would normally have booze. 🤷 Whatever works I guess
