If recovering from a shorter cycle, should one use the same amount of nolvadex as recommended with a 4 week cycle? Or can I cut the amount of nolva used in half due to the cycle being shorter?

If you mean cut by number of weeks for pct, yes. Dosage during weeks should remain about the same. For example if running 2-week cycle of M1T, should use 40mg/d pct for 1st week and 20mg/d for 2nd.
