After playing college ball, and almost 10 years of lifting pretty hard with buddies I'm realizing just how little I know when it comes to the science behind, and proper lifting in general. I'm desiring knowledge on the details of each lift, stuff like the db lateral raise article on this forum page that covers lifting through abduction. I think a good base would do me more good than asking a billion q's, then I can try new knowledge out than ask you guys specific questions. Anyways any good book ideas that would fit this profile and talk about each lift in detail for each muscle? Or any online sources that are also effective in doing this? Thanks guys.

basically im for the first time eating really clean, and wanting to now get the knowledge to take this a lot more serious than i have in the past and take it to the next level (for me! lol some of you guys are light years ahead of me)

I recently asked JudoJosh for a list of recommended reads and he posted a long list in his Log you could check that out on page five :)
