Reaching Saturation with Creatine HCl

Hey all, quick question: I know creatine loading is unnecessary, but you still need to take it every day for your first month or so to reach saturation (then it's okay to take on workout days). With creatine mono 3-5g is sufficient. How about with Creatine HCl? What should I dose it at during the first month (taking every day) to reach saturation?

Doesn't HCL saturate alot quicker? I had my buddy pick up an 8-10 sample pack on Creatine HCL and then a tub of Mono. He felt he could notice its effects versus last time with straight Mono gradually building up.
 
Different types affect different people. You just have to try it and see what it does for you.

For me, I happen to be a non-responder to creatine but from time to time, I take it.
 
Creatine HCL may get you to the saturation point quicker, however I can't theorize which day or time frame exactly this would occur.
 
Thanks yall. I'll get some and do 3-5g e/d for a week or two then do 3g on workout days
 
You dont need that much. Creatine HCL is microdosed.

Its 1g per 100lbs of body weight that is the usual recomendation.

2-3g max.

and most pre-workouts have creatine in them already so don't forget about them.


Right, my pre has 750mg of Creatine HCl but didn't think that was enough + looking for something for off days. Gonna pick up a tub of Creacore from Muscletech (1750 mg/scoop) and do a scoop on off days and adding a half scoop to my pre

Most (I believe most) guys and gals on here take creatine only on their workout days. So you could try that also. I use to take 5g of green mag a day but now I just take my pre-workout during my workout days and that's it.
