well you know what.... the risk of salmonella is almost nothing for egg substitutes (egg whites) so rather than actual eggs just add egg beaters or better n' eggs to your protein shake.
I eat raw eggs most every morning in my shake 4 eggs 2 scoops or vanilla whey and a couple teaspoons of sugar free metamucil add 3-4 ice cube and blend in the blender. The raw eggs make for very rich, creamy shake.
Yeah, it's so much easier to consume them raw. I can only handle 3 boiled eggs before I am to vomit and I hate scrambled. I just picked up some Egg Beaters egg whites. They are working out fine.
