I'm looking to purchase some...there are quite a few r-ala products out...What has eveyone used...What brand would you bro's recomend it terms of best value...
 
Go with the potassium-form as it's far more stable[K-R-ALA]. Sledge's Glucophase is a great value and cheaper than going with Invalid Link Removed direct.
 
Glucophase XR....good stuff. I liked it much better than traditional R-ALA, but thats just me. A little more pricey, but worth it IMO.

Yup, would receive AST r-ALA bottles in which the ALA was polymerized and tons of broken caps. I've been happy with geronova.com, designer supps and bulknutrition.

I've never had this experience, especially with broken caps... hmm...

FunkMasterFlex, you say, "ast's r-ala failed testing pretty badly" - what testing are you referring to? I'd be interested in checking that out.
 
yup ast is crap...i would limit the r-ala to cutting periods....power endurance type activites WILL suffer while using..but it does melt the fat off....once again the AST is **** go with 1fast400 (BN) or Designer Supps...
 
Ok, no offense but *duh* I know he was talking about label claims. However, I was asking where I could view this information as I do not seem to find anything about it online.

I don't dispute what you guys are saying. AST's ALA may be worthless; the company may be worthless... I don't really have a strong opinion; however, just saying that they are sh*t doesn't make it so. And coming out with things like, "They failed testing" should be able to be backed up with a "this test was conducted by... and showed..." or something.

Otherwise it is regurgitated b.s. one person passes on to another without reason or evidence.

So... I say again... what test did they fail? Who did this test? What were the results?

Hey, don't get me wrong. I don't like certain brands either... but while I might say, "Hey, I don't like Optimum. I think they are crap." If someone says, "What makes you say that?" My answer is just, "I just don't like the way they present themselves. I don't like their affiliation with GNC. Sometimes they just seem too cheap compared to other names that I know are good." I can't say, "Their stuff sucks." Because I don't know that.

So... you say AST sucks. I just would like to know why that is said. I don't think that's asking too much.
 
i like buying powder r-ala (i like buying powder EVERYTHING, i hate caps, tablets, and premade stuff)... anyway

DAMN, that stuff is spicy.

m1t and r-ala together is one spicy cocktail! :)
