quick question about pwo cardio and pwo simple carbs

Okay I know you have 30 minutes to eat protein and simple carbs after you weight train.. The so called anabolic window. What if you weight trained for 45 min to an hour and right after did cardio for 45 minutes.. Do you still take pwo simple carbs for the insulin spike or is it too late???
 
Muscle is actually primed for upto and around 48 hours after strenious exercise. I would take some protein after weights but leave the carbs until I had finished cardio.
