Question: Herbal Extracts and Liver Health

Anyone know what the consensus is on herbal ethanol extracts and potential liver damage?

I'm currently taking a certain "kitchen sink" test booster and am curious about potential side effects of consuming so many extracts in such high doses over an extended period.

My guess is that many more people here would be f'd than seems to be the case if it were terribly harmful to take such supplements for eight weeks at a time, but I would still like to ask the hive mind for opinions.

Apologies if my query seems at all paranoid.

Thanks!

Do you have a specific herb that you are questioning? There are many herbs that can be potentially damaging to your liver - even green tea can cause damage. That is a reason not to take too much and to cycle off after 6-8 weeks.

Or are you asking if the extraction process itself can make the herbs dangerous?

Thanks -- yes, the extraction process itself, particularly alcohol extracts in large doses.
