Question about pre-cooking meals for the week

Okay, I have always read that a lot of body builders will take sunday to pre-cook all their meals for the week ahead. I would like to start doing this because I really need to get my diet in check, and this would make it so easier. So my question is, How long is cooked chicken good for? I want to cook up a bunch of chicken, brocoli and wild rice and pre pack them for the week ahead. Im not worried about the veggies and rice, but the chicken I dont want to go bad. 3 to 4 days maybe, or even longer??

i was eating chicken at 4 and 5 days old with out getting sick, so i'm going to guess somewhere around there. anything past and i start to worry a bit. i think the oldest i had a breast go was 6 days but i got a nasty case of the squirts. too coincidental to be anything else.

LMAO, thanks for the input. If I can get 4 days for sure, then I would only have to cook twice a week. That would be pretty awesome.

I weigh my portions out then vacuum seal em .. lasts a week easily tastes fresh as the day I cooked it .. if I know I won't be eating it I pop it in the freezer .. good for months .. I often put whole meals in and seal em .. keeps everything moist when I nuke it ...
