question about insulin spike

hello everyone is necesary to spike insulin after cardio session on off days? (no weight training)

Jacking up a huge insulin spike following weight training is very debatable on its effectiveness imo.

But to your answer it is not. When you wake up eat some faster digesting protein sources that will be readily absorbed after sleep, but a massive insulin spike won't be necessary.

"Necessary? Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine? No, but I do it anyway because it's sterile and I like the taste."

In all serious though, not really. Some people see it as extremely beneficial where as others stick to low gi carbs post workout. Just try it for a week and a week w/o and see which works better for you.

I'm pretty sure Rodja was an anti-GI spike person, maybe he'll chime in on this one.

If you take something like BCAA's, you will not go catabolic therefore the insulin spike is not necessary. Other supplements such as Powerful, or anything that helps raise GH levels will also keep you from going catabolic as well. Personally I like 5-10 grams of straigh leucine during cardio then having a slow complex carb, usually oats, after my cardio sessions.

hey thanks for your answers guys....i was very unsure about that.....but after weight training it is necesary right? i have read everywhere about eating fast digesting carbs after weight training should i eat a high amount even if im in a fat loss diet? i tend to put on bf% really easy when i eat to many carbs

this is my post workout meal ( 2 WHEY PROTEIN SCOOPS, 1 BAGEL 2 TBSP JELLY AND OTHER TIMES 1 POTATO WITH 1 CUP APPLE JUICE) HOW THIS LOOKS LIKE TO YOU GUYS?

Personally I feel high (as well as many others on here) GI carbs don't do anything for added recovery/muscle growth (even post workout.) If you are carb sensitive and are trying to loose weight I would suggest trying a low GI approach to both pre and post workout. Not only will it give you better results in fat loss overall it is a healthier approach.

Agreed with the above posts. I do not like spiking my insulin very much. Typically my post workout meals are low GI carbs. Therefore cardio is no different for me than a weight training session so i just eat a normal meal afterwards.

hey thanks guys is good to heard differents opinions....i have never try low digesting carbs for post workout meal in my 4 years of training ill try it to see how it works.....
im doing a fat loss diet it is ok to do carb load every 5 days?
also should my diet be high in healthy fats?

If you are low carbing than yes the carb void should be filled with healthy fats that will help you enter ketosis. Also if you are low carbing I would suggest re-feeding every 7th day.

thanks man......its incredible how sensitive to carbs i am no matter how clean i try to bulk even if a do cardio during bulking i still put on fat easily thats very sad and frustrating even if i do carb load every 2 days during bulking i still put on fat.....its there any recomendation you can give me

Either find a way to utilize the carbs or look into Anabolic Pump and P-slin (you will love these products if you are truly as carb sensitive as you state you are.) You will be primed to take in large amounts of carbs with little/no/potentially a decrease in fat (depending on how you use it)

yes i heard about these two product some many good feedbacks i really want to try them can they be stack it? or take anabolic pump stack it with leviathan?

P-Slin and AP make an awesome stack. Those products with Leviathan Reloaded is a primo fat loss stack. I would recommend if you can't do both AP and P-Slin together to look into AP since it will offer the results you want.

ok man thanks for your advices ill try AP... maybe y can affort P-SLIN ill keep you posted when i try them.

Cool deal man, you will really enjoy Anabolic Pump. If you got any question on how to dose them check out the USP forum or post up a question in there. Best of luck.

Hey You Think Drive+rpm+ Ap Could Be A Good Decision? I Can Affort Them But Im Confunsed I Dont Want To Make A Bad Decision

Thats a fine stack as well. The supplement forum is filled with tons of info if you interested in a product and want to see others results/opinions.
