Out of curiosity, why did he want you to cut your caffeine in half? Like another person asked, is it heart related? Might be a good idea to take a stim break all together. There are products that are effective stim free pre workouts that do more than get the job done. Like what was mentioned before, Hemavol, PowerMax XT or VasoMax should be fine.
I can't comment on hemavol v2 because I have not used it yet but PowerMax XT is great and VasoMax just hit the shelf at Nutriverse.
You will see better endurance and pump from VasoMax. Now it (VasoMax and hemavol) do contain nitrates (potassium nitrate) so if your reduced caffeine recommendation is due to a heart issue, you will need to consult with your doctor about the use of nitrates. If you are advised to not use nitrates, I would look into PowerMax XT. You can even add a little caffeine to this (or any stim free product) since it has been approved by your doctor. In my opinion, I would use this time to take a stim break and get your body and receptors right and come back when "cleared" for use of stimulants.
PowerMax XT contains 5g (full dose) of creatine mono so this will save you some money from adding bulk mono. With the addition of Selaginella Tamariscina Extract (90% Amentoflavone) at 100mg it will lead to muscle contraction, vasodilation and an increase in focus. Really solid formula that (I think) would suit you well.
