PWO=PRE Workout Shake? Or PWO=POST Workout Shake? Or both? (confused)

I hate that articles and courses talk about taking a PWO shake because I can never tell if that's Pre or Post.

What's the generally used meaning for PWO? And, how do people refer to the other?

Ive always used PWO as PRE and i think most others do too. Now that it is more popular to have BCAA's or whatever at many times, i now say PRE.

PRE, INTRA. PERI, and POST.

I periodically switch between Gold Standard Whey and Combat Protein.

I usually mix in milk.

When I use the GS Whey (vanilla), I'll often include some fruit.

Today's workout was biceps/triceps.

I ate nothing throughout the day. I skipped my Burn Xtreme, but did have EC.

at around 1:15p, I had JPX8 and Nos Ether (1 sc each) in about 20oz of water, taken over about 20 minutes.

I worked out around 2:15p and pushed each set to a hard failure.

No nausea. When I had about 4 sets left, I did find myself burping, but I never felt like I was going to vomit.

Lots of variable, here, so it's hard to know why there was no nausea. Could be the smaller muscles of arms vs when I do legs or back.

Could be skipping the protein. Or skipping BurnX.

But I felt NO lack of energy or strength by going in fasted, so I may continue with that for the next few workouts. I'm curious to see how the next back and next leg workouts go fasted.

I'll probably go back to taking the BurnX, but earlier in the morning.
