Pushing oil from syringe back into bottle

Gents-

I have a question...

When I draw from a vial and I have to much, or have to push air out, does it hurt anything to push that oil back into the bottle?

Shouldn't hurt anything. You mean while the syringe is still in the bottle or outside ? Shouldn't be a problem either way, just don't touch anything with the syringe before you inject the oil back in.
