Purchased Some Waxy Maize Starch

I didn't know whether or not to post this is supplements, or general. This is a general statement and not really a question, though I do welcome any comments. I don't believe Waxy Maize Starch to be any type of "super carb" or anything like that. Its just a carb. The reason I purchased it was to use on my carb up days, so I could add some extra carbs without the stomach discomfort and bloat or regular carbs. Supposedly it doesn't cause this distress. I have problems eating enough carbs during my carb up, so this in my opinion would be a great alternative to having to eat more starches, which bother my stomach. I really hope this will allow me to add more carbs without having my usual gas and bloating from most other carb sources.
 
I finally tried some WMS in a custom protein mix from true protein and I really like it. I was scared it wouldnt mix up good or have a weird texture to it, but surprisingly I enjoyed it. I only got a 1lb tub of it to try out before I purchase a big order, but all in all, i'm impressed with it.
 
I'm just really interested in it because supposedly it won't cause digestive issues like other carbs. I really have a hard time eating carbs, they just don't agree with me!. I ususally just deal with it...This may be a way to get more carbs in without all the issues I have!. One other thing I just purchased was Adam Mens Multi. I usually get the tablets, but this time I got the caps, because after reading a certain thread on here I think caps may be better digested, since it wouldn't have to break down as much as a hardend tablet...
 
yeah, i'm planning on going to a liquid multi as soon as I can find one at a decent price....
 
I have never heard a single customer mention any form of bloating or stomach discomfort when carbing with the waxy maize starch, so i think it would be just what you are looking for T, what i have heard is how Waxy does the opposite and great responses about people who were using dextrose or maltodextrin in the past who were having issues that no longer get the same discomfort now that they have switched to the waxy.

Sorry I didn't get it from a board sponser. It was one of those impulse buys...I was thinking about it, then I just said what the hell...I'm sure its good stuff though. I look forward to adding the extra carbs without the bloat and gas it will be great!.

hahaha. I didn't think you were trying to sell it to me. I just feel bad when I purchase from online stores that are not board sponsers!. Pathetic huh?. Hey I like to support board sponsers, but I don't always purchase from them.
 
lol i totally hear you man, im the same way when i buy online, its hard to pass up stuff thats right in front of you when youre at the store, thats why i have to stay out of best buy =D

Hahaha. I haven't been in Best Buy in a while. I was looking for a USB extension last night though, and went to Circuit City. Big mistake, everytime I go in there I am disapointed. I seem to try and give them a new chance everytime I need something quick though. To date though, the only thing I ever purchased there was some dvdrw discs. The prices in there are something like 3 times what you can find online. I went online and purchased what I need for less than half of what Circuit City was charging!. They wanted $30.99 for a USB extension....I was like "WTF?!??!" and walked out.
 
i refuse to even go in there, the prices are crazy, i occasionally find an awesome sale at best buy but for the most part i go in to write my new list to check for online, i get dvds on Half for less than the price of rentals
