pull vs pinch subq injections

I can't seem to find what this pull method of injection is called or if its a valid way to subq

pull method:
On a lean part of your body (skin cant be too tight), pull up the loose skin to make a pocket and inject sideways and slightly down. It seems to work well for me on my hips, havent tried anywhere else yet.

maybe I'm still hitting subcutaneous tissue, but it kinda seems like it might be going between the subq and muscle layers

is this just a waste of injectable? its really nice and easy compared to pinching some fat pocket and injecting into it

I don't really have a direct answer to your question but I just find an area where there's grabable body fat, there has to be some amount of fat that can be pinched between my fingers and I just go for it lol. Never had a problem, I'm 99.9% sure that whatever you're injecting just has to make it inside that first layer of fat or deeper and eventually it will be absorbed.

Another thing, unless you are like bodybuilder contest lean, just pin your glutes with a 1/2in slin pin. As long as you're not burying it down as hard as you can it should be Sub-Q every time

I’ve always called it the z-track method, if I’m understanding your description correctly. It’s more for IM injections but works fine for subq. Like Smont said above, I personally just grab some fatty tissue and inject. Personal preference I suppose. I’ve used z-track for years when injecting IM though.

Another spot I found works really good for sub q, imagine you're putting one foot up on a bench so you're standing with one foot on the ground and the other foot up on the bench. So now your knee is facing forward right in front of you making kind of an L shape to your upper body. Now down on the outer side of your hip where the body and the leg meet you should be able to grab a lot of fatty area. This is an area that if I was standing normal you would never think there's any fat there but if you put yourself in this position there's a whole bunch of it you can grab and that's where I've been doing my sub q shots lately. I'll see if I can find a picture to better explain it or take one of myself next time I do it

Right where that yellow spot is you should be able to grab some fat on the outer side between your fingers and have enough room to do a sub q injection, I would keep the volume very small though 0.5 or 0.6 tops

Interesting. I’m trying to find where you’re talking about (I’m sure if someone walked into my office right now they’d be in for some weirdness).

Honestly all subq injection should be around a half milliliter or less. Unless you want a big swollen bump on your hip or your ass or your stomach for 5 days. If you're lean that is, if your body fat is higher you'll never see the lump

Ahhh, ok. That’s where I was just groping myself. Ya there is some fat there for me as well. Seems kind of a sensitive spot though no?

I just found a picture of someone standing in that position take a look at that ^^^

Yeah I really thought that would be a sensitive spot but it feels like nothing, no different than sticking it in the belly fat for me. Assuming we're talking about the same area but yeah

I don't have much of a problem doing normal subq. I just want to get bpc-157 near my hip joint and found this method to be comfortable. I'll test it more. probably with peg-mgf because I can feel if that's working

I'm testing this a bit more. did some mass monster today and did two different jabs. one of them made a little ball you could feel, the other one didn't. seems like you might be able to get it between the muscle and subq layer if you are careful. if it makes a ball, I think it's in the subq

got 40 units into my hip today and there's no bump after. I think the best strategy is to poke your muscle then pull back just a little.

It’s nice once you master getting that sweet spot perfectly every time. No bumps, all pumps!
