Protodioscin is a naturally occurring saponin compound found in several plant species and is primarily recognized for its potential to support testosterone levels, libido, and other aspects of male health.

However, Tribulus had a significant problem – the amount of protodioscin in Tribulus products was often inconsistent, and some raw materials contained little to no Protodioscin at all.

Tribulus has been widely used in supplements claiming to enhance testosterone levels, muscle growth, and libido. In the real world, some lead to improvements in libido in some people, but very little else because of having inconsistent and low levels of Protodioscin.

Tribulus and Protodioscin Deception:
You will see most Tribulus products labeled showing the percentage of saponins, of which protodioscin is only one of and is normally only a very low percentage of.

However, you may see some Tribulus products state high protodioscin contents, some of which are impossibly high and what they are doing is very misleading to consumers. Some brands will state that they have a high % of protodioscin but base it off of UV testing, which is generally not considered accurate for detecting protodioscin because it has very weak UV absorption, making it difficult to reliably quantify using a standard UV spectrophotometer. This can show an inaccurately high amount of protodioscin because UV spectrophotometry measures the absorbance of light at specific wavelengths and other compounds such as other saponins, flavonoids, or polyphenols may absorb at similar wavelengths, leading to a higher reading than what is actually due to protodioscin alone.

I know M-Test is a testosterone booster, so should probably be cycled, but I use it year round. Before I order my next bottle, I wanted to ask about how this compares against/to M-Test?

mtest can be run year around/lifetime around

as for this product is completely different and safe to stack the 2

as for the comparison .. youll see some diff benefits more importantly you will see better leaning out/strength from prototest ( from the studies ive read ) and still enjoy better sexual health.

Mtest and optimizeT are over all just good for mens health i feel like and safe and should be run year around ..so use that as a base and throw stuff on top imo

You can run M-Test for as long as you would like to. I use it year round myself.

ProtoTest XT is a great product featuring a great ingredient, but its hard to compare a single ingredient to a formula.

I wouldn't stop taking M-Test to use ProtoTest XT, but I do plan to add ProtoTest XT to my M-Test to see how I like it.

If you could only afford one of them, which would you choose?

I also have four more months worth of Optimize-T, which I'll be stacking it with.

My total testosterone levels are within normal range, but my free testosterone (the useful stuff) levels are way below even the lowest range. So which would be better at increasing free testosterone.

I have an endocrinology condition and my free test levels were chronically low and M-Test was the best thing that I ever used to increase them. The reason I stay on it year round was because my endocrinologist told me to because of the increase in my bloodwork and how they went back down when I stopped and went back up when I started back. So in my case, M-Test has been great for me for that.

I added Optimize-T to M-Test and that's my stack now.

So if I add Prototest XT for me personally, it will be 1 capsule per day on top of those.

I explain all of that to show that I'm in a situation where I can't really just stop one thing to play with another because my endocrinology condition is so rare and so complex that it took a long time to get it relatively under control, so I don't want to do anything to risk throwing it off again. So I can add things to see how I like them, but can't really take things out that my bloodwork baselines are based on. I hope that makes sense.

My stack is M-Test + Optimize-T, and I'll be adding 1 cap ProtoTest XT to it to see how I like it.

I know how my bloodwork looks on M-Test+Optimize-T, so I'll add the half ProtoTest dose to that and see how my bloods look this time in four weeks.

Let me know what you think. I'm going to start it soon myself, probably next week, and we can compare notes and what type of difference we notice with it.

I had been to 4 different endocrinologists and had done everything up through a pituitary MRI trying to get my endocrinology condition figured out. I was getting bloodwork done every 6 weeks and had it done on M-Test and it was a lot better. My doctor asked what I was taking at the time so I told him. He had me stop, tested and levels were back down, started again and tested in a month and were back up, and been using it year round since. I added Optimize-T to it and saw an even better improvement in bloodwork and how I feel. I'm really curious how adding a capsule of ProtoTest XT will add to it.

This has been a funny product/thread bc this has sold well but had so few posts in the thread.

Hopefully some will provide feedback.

It's only been out a few weeks so there hasn't been time for long term feedback, but what we're hearing so far is improved libido and a better overall daily energy level, and some people say they feel like it helps mood, like a more alpha type mood, not aggression, just confidence.

Good tribulus basically does this for me.
 
Been on protototest for a bit over a week now. Energy levels are up as well as mood. Feeling good. Mild libido boost. No digestion issues which is a big thing for me with Crohn’s. Might be a new staple!
 
Went to order some Optimize-T about 3 weeks ago from dps. They were out so I figured I'd try prototest which they had. Been stacking it with m test. Never thought I'd say this but I like this better than Optimize-T which I love! The libido from this is crazy. Just my 2 cents.

Wonder if it's because most people are probably buying and adding to a stack with one of your other products like M-Test or Optimize-T? But would be interested in hearing from those who maybe have ran solo.

That's EXACTLY how I test supplements out on it's own first for at least 4 weeks before trying
to add it to others so I know whether or not it works for me.
 
I'm running tongkat ali (from XPG Alpha Gel), fadogia and horny goat weed (from CEL Basis) right now and love this stack. Once I run out, I'll give ProtoTest solo a try

I like it, but not as much as I like Optimize-T - but its a good add on to it.

Sorry about being out of Optimize-T; we should hopefully have it back in stock next week.

That is like the ultimate natural testosterone stack there. I use M-Test and Optimize-T together and have added Cloma-Plex too and love that combination.
 
On my second bottle of Prototest. I've been taking 3 caps/day. 2 in the AM and 1 in the evening.

Libido is in overdrive. Took about 2 weeks to fully kick in.

I was planning on just running two bottles but I'm going to be continuing this run with another bottle.

How are you noticing overall mood, drive and motivation?
I’ve read that allot of people notice overall masculine feeling and benefits from Dioscorea.

When you say libido, do you mean libido in the sense of thinking/seeking sex more often, or is it more, your downstairs member is more ready to go etc (full of blood).

I have 3 bottles of this sitting in my draw, I just haven't managed to incorporate it yet. Seems like I'll have to give it a whirl in 12 weeks time!

Overall masculine feeling is a good way to describe it.

I was just going to give this a two bottle run and it turned out to be better than I expected so I'm going to extend the run.

@BigGame84 curious as to how much you weigh? Most of what I have read seems to suggest you need about 600- 700mg of protodioscin to really notice the libido increase.
