Protein Shakes, what do you mix?

Well yesterday I woke up and had to be at class at 10 so looked in the fridge and there is no milk or anything else to eat for breakfast. So I grabbed my strawberry Muscle milk, orange juice, and the shaker. I put one scoop of MK, only 8oz left of oj, so i grabbed what was left of a water bottle and poured it in there and it went up to about 14-16oz total. I shake the crap outta it an start drinking and it was pretty damn good, what do you guys mix with your shakes with?

usually just water ... occasionally i'll use milk .. i try to only have shakes pre and post work out (meaning whey shakes .. i blend other stuff all the time .. like tuna) .. i notice a drastic difference in my fullness and leanness when i eat mainly whole foods

Tuna???
Now I have to hear what concoctions you brew up with tuna.

aaah, tuna shakes, gotta love 'em!
I use water. I've been using milk to mix AI cycle support though and it's pretty tasty so I may switch to milk.

nothing special just a can of tuna, a cup of water, and i pour in some salsa .. its not terrible .. its by no means good .. but its not terrible

I will have to try some tuna,oats,chicken,steak,oj,water,milk... I wonder how it would taste, put some a1 just for good measure!

from personal experience the chicken will be TERRIBLE .. never tried steak but why waste something so delicious? :)

its important to keep in mind that while blending up whole foods would LIKELY be better than a whey shake .. its still liquid meaning it will digest MUCH quicker meaning you won't absorb as much when compared to if one ate the real whole foods

lesson as always eat whole foods when you can .. unfortunately real life doesn't always cooperate

Im a strictly water guy myself. I do however use Crystal light with my WMS PWO. Only thing I ever "add" is leucine and maybe some bcaa's.

There's a liquid egg white product called "All Whites" that's pretty good in fruit smoothies. It doesn't have the yellow coloring or fake egg flavor like the other egg white products do, so it's basically tasteless. I use just whey with juice for PWO, but if I'm having a fruit smoothie for breakfast I'll usually dump in a bunch of frozen berries, a banana, milk, All Whites, a little whey, and maybe some yogurt.

But for the ultimate shake, put in a 1/2 chicken and 5-10 whole eggs in a blender. The momma hen synergizes with her unborn baby chicks to produce 247% more anabolism than either alone.

Whey isolate + water for postwork shake and then usually within an hour to an hour and a half I eat a good meal. O/N's vanilla whey with some fresh or frozen strawberries & splenda with water and yogurt makes a good smoothie during the day.
