Protein shake only diet

Has anyone ever tried this? What are the health implications? Obviously you would want to also take a good multi and a fiber supplement, and also potentially mix in brown rice *small amount for carb energy*. But im curious how this would work and im theory it would be great for cutting.
 
Even if you could make it work on paper, in real life you'd be so constipated and gassy that you'd give up quickly
 
Nutritionally an issue. Shouldn’t be done for long periods. You could take something like Soylent and pack it full of protein powder.
 
Bruuuuuh you would have so much unwanted gut bacteria. Have fun simultaneously being bloated beyond belief and going through phases of intense diarrea and constipation

Haha this! You still need to eat whole food even though people say protein powder is just powdered food.
 
I would not do it.

If you are interested, look into the Velocity diet. It seems like it has good feedback, but there are many issues with only getting food from protein powder. Here is a start
