propionate vs. enanthate....

Hey everyone, just looking for some guidance. I'm 40 yrs old - and have been training seriously for 20 years. Can anyone tell me the main difference between prop and eth ? I'm not looking for major gains at this point in my career, just a little "kick" and too just feel "good". I have done a few cycles in my time, but have been out of the loop so to speak. Any suggestions welcomed....

The biggest difference is how often you are going to wind up sticking yourself....propionate is a shorter ester and has a shorter half life so you need to pin it EOD, although you could stretch it to every 3RD day if you were desperate enough. Enanthate is a longer ester with a longer half life so you can get by with pinning twice a week.

At the end of the day they will both probably yield very similiar results, but keep in mind that generally the difference in water retention between the esters can be great....you may need arimidex with enanthate and not propionate....

Prop is my favorite ester, but it's not for beginners, too many injects. I know people will say "test is test",but I get less water retention, better gains off prop. Try to find ethyl oleate based if you can.

Many people have adverse reactions to EO so I wouldn't invest all my money in EO based preparations if I were you. I actually developed an "allergy," for lack of a better term at the moment, to it. For some reason anytime I shot something with EO I would flare up, switched over to 100% GSO and im good.

I believe water retention is more dependent on the user and not the steroid. I have never bloated and i've used high doses of testE over long periods.
Yeah,I like GSO the best too, just have a hard time finding companies that use it. I've used EO based prop for 2 years now,no probs. I've cycled for over 12 years, and every time I use enanthate or cyp I carry more water. I wish I did'nt! Like you said, everyones different.
