Prop or Base?

I've read in some posts that many times Test Prop powder is really just Test base. I'm wanting to make a T-base dermal. So here's my question with that in mind ... is there a way to tell if an item labeled as Test Prop powder is actually base?

from looking it's hard to tell, usually they're both just fine white powder. Try weighing a given volume of each and that will tell you which has the prop ester :)

melting point, sleep through chem? =P
Doh! Guess my last chem class was waaaaay too long ago.

Weighing would be nice and easy ... if I had a known sample of test base :)

Can you separate the test base from saline suspension simply by cooking?
