I try to log on normal websites like bb.com and a few others...and now i get a 404 error...when I asked normal members about the situation they were able to log on just fine...its happening to other websites as well

Get a program to check for spy ware/ad aware and remove them. You most likely have a script on your comp that's trying to redirect you to ads etc....

Clear your cache, delete all Temp. Internet files and cookies, that may solve it.
