Prime review

I love prime!
A little background, I'm a powerlifter, I'm not much concerned with physique development as much as strength development. My last bench only meet was in March where I hit 400 in a double ply shirt at a bodyweight of 181. At the last minute I decided to do a push/pull meet raw. I only had about 4-5 weeks to prepare and figured I'd give prime a go. My best raw bench was 305 while taking superdrol, since then I've stopped with PHs. My deadlift I didn't train often but when I had I managed to get 405 up for a single with a bit of struggle. I was dosing prime at 6 caps a day Monday through Friday and my training consisted of deadlift on Monday, bench on Wednesday, and assistance work on Friday. Instead of maxing out singles I worked mainly on working up to max doubles and triples. At the start of the training cycle my max bench was probably 255 for a single and 235 for a triple and my deadlift was at 405 for a slow single and 350 for a double. By the third week I was benching 265 for a triple and deadlifting 375 for a triple. At the start of the fourth week I had completely burned out my CNS and could barely deadlift 315. Instead of trying to continue I took the next week and a half leading up to the meet off to recuperate. At the day of meet I wasn't in my best shape, I'd had at best 4 hours of sleep and felt like garbage. Before the bench flight I took 3 caps of prime and managed to get only my opener of 275 (not bad for how lousy I felt). Also before the deadlift flight I took another 3 caps of prime and nailed my opener of 405 (I pulled it faster than ever) and my second attempt at 425. I managed to reach my goal of getting a 700 subtotal raw. I know the numbers may not be that impressive but considering the CNS burnout and feeling completely exhausted I must say it wasn't at all a bad day. Also during my training I noticed some crazy recomp effects, I ate like a garbage disposal in attempt to gain weight (which is usually good for about a 10lb gain) but I barely put on 2lbs and looked leaner. All in all primes effects were subtle but looking the numbers it definitely seemed to have helped, I'll continue to use it in my training cycles. Next I'm thinking of stacking it with activate extreme!

Great work my friend! I too am a powerlifter and I am 100% addicted to PRIME. For your next cycle, consider dosing 7 days per week. It is 100% safe and I feel like this cycle has been much more beneficial for me.

Powerlifters love PRIME because of its tendency to allow for sustained power. If you try hard enough, you will get it.

Have you considered the entire ASteroid stack?

I've thought about it. The thing is I've tried AP way back and I'm not sure if I got much out of it (this was the old formula with hydroxyl4). Also with the way my job is, it could make dosing it with meals difficult on the non training days. I may give it a go if I can get by on dosing it only 2x/day on the non training days. any opinions?

Layout a normal day for you, and I will definitely try my best to accommodate your schedule with AP.

My day is a little different than most because I work late hours. Also, the times I eat at work can always be different or I may not have the opportunity to eat at all. Anyway, here it goes:

11:45am- wake up
1:00pm- meal 1 is usually a couple of pieces of fruit and a protein shake
4:00pm- snack, usually nuts or something protein heavy like eggs
6:00pm-8:00pm(if I'm lucky)- meal 2 is usually a good sized roast beef or turkey sandwich
12:00am- another protein shake, then workout
1:30-2:00am- another solid food meal that's mostly protein

That's about as typical as it can get. My job can get pretty demanding sometimes. Sometimes I have the opportunity to work out at work. My main concern is that AP has to be dosed 15 minutes before a meal. It happens pretty often that I'll be ready to eat and no more than minutes later those plans are shot to hell, which is why I'm a bit unsure about the mid day dose of AP.

As Jacob and I found out in Las Vegas last year, it is highly possible to consume Anabolic Pump while eating, and still receive benefit. In my experience - and due to some physiological reasons that I will not bore you with - one loses some of the adipose attenuation effects of Anabolic Pump, but retains a greater sense of glucose-shuttling. Based on your highly variable schedule, I would merely bring two-to-three doses with you to work, and consume them as you are eating; in this respect, the suffocating fifteen-minute window is gone!

Is it that you start late in the day, or work extremely long hours?

Just to kind of second Mullet's notion. I often don't have the 15 minutes recommended, however I still dose AP with all of my carbohydrate meals. I honestly don't notice all that much difference.

If you can do it I think you get more benefit taking 15 min pre, but it is by no means a must from my experience...

I often dose with my meal as well.

I would explain why, but it may be too esoteric!

My work day starts around 3:00pm and ends around 12:00am.
Thanks for input on the dosing, everyone.
I'll be playing around with this stack in the near future considering I stocked up on NPs Prime twin pack sale!
Should I be increasing my carbs while taking AP? for example, should I be adding 40gms of WMS with my protein shakes and dosing AP with them?
