Free service for better training overview

TrainingBlog.com is a free Norwegian web service that allows users to log their training with full overview and opportunity to easily see development and progress . This can be both useful and motivational for the individual exerciser, athlete or for the coach who wants to follow his or her athletes.

The benefit of logging training at TrainingBlog.com is that, unlike a regular exercise diary or ordinary web sites, all data are collected in a database. All logged data may therefore be used for statistical analysis, general overview and whatever else you may wish to use it for. There are many different features that are already implemented in the system, but it is constantly evolving and if it is something our users want in functionality we want to add this.

All possible forms of exercise can be logged at TrainingBlog.com, but strength training is best developed right now. Once you have logged a strength workout, you can immediately after you have pressed "save" see how much you lifted and how effective you were during the current session . If you have performed very well and made some personal records this will also be shown . The system keeps track of all personal records and motivates by instantly putting stars behind the sets if they are better than anything you have previously achieved.

TrainingBlog.com is also a social networking service where training sessions you log usually show on the public "wall" (similar to the newsfeed on Facebook). Anyone can therefore normally click on a listed workout, see it, read the comment the athlete entered himself and post their own comments to the user. However, it is very easy to anonymize the use of TrainingBlog.com if you do not want others to see your training and just use the site as an advanced yet easy to use personal training diary .

If you make a lift or set that's been filmed, you can connect this video to the given lift/set so that all can see video of the performance whether you seek it out specifically or the lift/set pops up in a search or in a statistical function. If you want to see other people's achievements all the videos are searchable on the special video page at TrainingBlog.com . And if you're curious about how your performance is compared to others there is a page called Hall of Fame. For many it can be motivating to see that they climb this list while they surpass their own personal best. Maybe a workout buddy is two notches above in the list or you have 4 above you before reaching first place?

If you want to perform better as an athlete, or get a better overview of your athletes, we recommend that you try TrainingBlog.com . It's completely free and we know that you too will see the benefits of this excellent tool!

Sporty greetings from TrainingBlog.com
