Pre-Workout Irritability

Hey AM, just putting a quick topic up on what y'all think may have been the culprit to some unwieldy anger I had gotten while on Cannibal Riots original ingredient label.

Mesomorph and Riot have some of the same ingredients, but Riot causes me to be angry without any reason while mesomorph has no adverse effects. Would think the culprit is DMHA since mesomorph lacks that and Riot contains it; however, I've taken Kraken with no issues and it contains DMHA.

Any ideas or same experience?
 
DMHA is a very bizzare compound for me. It always gives me internal euphoria but it is totally hit or miss how it causes me to treat other people. I'm either very social while on it, or I am not in the mood at all to talk which results in me having to subtely tell someone to **** off at the gym.....
 
Definitely not placebo, it was like day and night. Taken it two different times the irritability usually sets in on week 2, and stopped the first time when I pulled my door off the hinges. Went back to normal right after, calm and not easily angered.

Second time I was only using it for 12 days before I broke my hand on my truck dashboard. That's when I threw it away.

When you look at the ingredient label it is not overly complexed at all and baffles me why Riot only ever did it, strange?
 
What is the label? All the labels I see for Riot have nothing in it that would cause that issue.

Have you had any anger issues in the past?
 
Beta-Alanine, L-Citrulline, Agmatine, NALT, Caffeine, Glucuronolactone, DMAA, and DMHA.

Never had anger issues. Hah wish I had this back when I played rugby but definitely not one whose quick to anger. Stuff just put me on edge.

I read somewhere Agmatine may cause irritability but Mesomorph contains it as well.
 
Depending on your body and chemistry DMAA, DMHA and caffeine can have that effect. Its all depends on how you react to them. When I take in a lot of caffeine I know I get a little shorter with my reactions and sometimes irritable.

For sure. I think Mesomorph, what he was comparing it to when he said he didn't have any problems with it, had all the same stimulants though.

NALT in too high a dose makes me feel like **** too. I have bulk NALT and only take 300-350mg max. 500mg is a pretty high dose for a single serving, and people can respond weird to it.

Whoever formulated that preworkout is a ****ing idiot.
 
NALT would of been a guess for me as well especially with how it is dosed; however, Kraken has the same dose and no issues there.

Another point regarding the dose of the stimulants is that Riot only had 50mg of both DMAA and DMHA, while Kraken has 200mg of DMHA and Mesomorph has 65mg of DMAA. Both have higher doses than Riot yet no issues with mood.

I have read that Taurine can effect you neurologically (GABA) and maybe the lack of it in Riot is why I have the effect I do rather than in Mesomorph or Kraken where it may be causing a canceling effect or preventing me from becoming irritable as I would while on Riot?

Kraken doesn't have DMAA though, it also has 100mg less caffeine than Riot.

It's not a lack of Taurine broski.

Riot threw DMAA, DMHA, and a monster single dose of caffeine on top of a large dose of NALT (and Gluco which I don't know much about). It's not surprising you're having issues with it. I'm surprised people can even take it. It's like the formulators just decided to throw in every novel stimulant that's "popular" in with a nootropic for people to work out. Somewhere in the mix of all that stupidness you're having a conflict.

They just need to talk to the original creators of Craze and steal that banned stimulant they used.

I wouldn't take that Riot **** if you paid me.
