Hi folks.
On the weekend their I had been sent a couple samples of a pre workout. I had stopped pre workouts over a year ago due to it just causing anxiety etc.
I trained Saturday/Sunday and I thought let's give these samples a go. It's a powerful pre workout. Kigelia Africana etc in the ingredients.
I had 2 very good workouts. Very focused and just felt good.
The following day (Monday) I felt so drained and hellish. I felt completely exhausted and slightly anxious. I battled through my work yesterday. On my lunch break I went and slept in my car. I got home slept then woke up done dinner and went back to bed. This morning I feel a little better but I still feel very drained and slightly depressed/low mood. I've been sleeping fine etc
What's happened? Has the pre workout just messed up my brain chemistry? Feels like low dopamine. Be glad once i perk up. I still have slight anxiety. My body just doesn't do well with pre workouts. I won't touch them again. Those 2 good workouts aren't worth this hellish feeling.
It almost feels like my adrenals are shot as well. I'm sooooo lethargic.
Anyone else suffer this? Anything that may help? I will have to take time off the gym until I get back to normal. Kinda hoping it's sooner rather than later.
