PowerMax (40 Servings)

Taste: 10/10- I really enjoyed the flavor of powermax. The fruit punch was plenty sweet for me (and I like my stuff sweeeeetttt) even mixed with far more water then recommended. I usually went about 14-16oz per scoop and it was still basically koolaid at this level. Mixability: 7/10- overall this mixed pretty well with minimal effort. A few shakes and it was 90% mixed but there was still a bit of powder that settled if it sits for more then a few seconds. This went away if you kept shaking off and on for about 5min but that's a bit of a pain. I chose to just swirl before I drank and that worked well enough. Energy: 8/10- for me, I needed 3 scoops to really get me going which really shortens the life of a tub so that's why the lower rating here. Very clean energy though that had a nice build up and zero crash. Energy lasted well through my workouts even when they were 1.5hr or so. I did enjoy adding a bit more stim to this but that's all a personal preference. Focus: 7/10- this was off and on for me. I didn't feel that this product had a major impact on my focus on days that I already felt "off" but at times it was like a laser so it's hard to judge. I wouldn't take this specifically for focus if I was having a mentally off day. Endurance: 10/10- for me this is where this product absolutely went above and beyond. Easily the best endurance supplement I've ever taken and in my current cutting stage this was a wonderful addition. I was felt like I could run/lift for days and never once encountered a drop in theis throughout the log. For anyone that is doing a lot of cardio or long workouts I would highly recommend powermax as your pwo. Overall: 8.5/10- definitely one of the better pre workouts I've tried, however it does have a specific place for me. I can't rave enough about the endurance factor but would like to see a higher stim content to really get that energy/focus that pushes you through a tough day. One area that I did enjoy as well was the sense of "well being" that I felt about 20min or so after taking. This was more of a mood improvement vs strict focus or energy but also a great thing to have in a pre if you're going to the gym frustrated or right after work. Personally I would add in some other stims to compliment (and lower the scoops to 1.5-2) this when used on a heavy lifting day. I will definitely be purchasing a tub of this on my own to have for upcoming endurance events

I had the pleasure of trying samples of Performax powermax pwo. I thought the taste was very good. 7/10. It mixed up in water with no probs. No clumping or gritty texture. After about 15 min here came the rush. (In a good way). I didnt feel tweeked out or shakey. I lost track of time during my workout because of a great mind muscle connection. The energy /pump lasted for hrs with no hard crash on the downside. All in all i give this product a 8/10 and would def recommend it to anyone that wants a good clean feeling pwo. Thank you for the chance to check it out!

Final review for Performax PowerMax PreWorkout

I would like to start by saying all information concluded below are my own opinions and experiences. In no way, was I paid, or coerced into providing a biased review for this product. This review is based on the recommended 2 scoops.

I'd like to thank Performax and NickSox15 for the opportunity to review and log this product.

My current phase for last 2 months has been cutting. I was given the chance to try out PowerMax. Given that its supposed to be a low-stim, high performance product, I jumped at the opportunity to test it. As we all know most preworkout supplements rely heavily on caffeine for the energy boost. That's all well and dandy but what a lot of people don't realize is that that huge spurt of caffeine energy can convert to cortisol. Cortisol triggers body fat. That's a no no for me right now.

The ingredients are typical of most PWO's, with B Vitamins, creatine, vasodilators, and other stimulants. Another ingredient is Advantra Z. I had to look this up and found directly from the manufactures website that its a thermogenic formula that's supposed to help with energy utilization, and amino acid absorption.

I will break this review down into a few parts here for easier reading.

Mixability: 10/10
Performax easily mixed with smaller and larger amounts of water than required on the label. I was impressed with the grit free texture and was easily indigestible. Being easily mixable made taking double scoops easier will less water.

Taste: 7.5/10
Taste was good. It was a bit like a fruit punch koolaide. It wasn't the best tasting PWO nor was it the worst.

Pump: 7.5/10
The pump with performax seemed to be hit or miss for me. What was noticeable was when I would eat a good large lunch and then took my performax I was getting huge pumps. If I didn't eat as much the pumps were less noticeable.

Stamina: 10/10
One thing that remained constant through the entire log was the stamina increase from the product. I could easily speed hours at the gym and still have the endurance to continue training. I've never gotten that from any other PWO.

Energy: 9/10
The energy I got from this product was different from any other PWO I have taken. First and foremost when they advertise “clean energy”, it really is. You don't get a huge blast of energy to the face right away. Instead, you get slow controlled energy release. This energy kind of sneaks up on you as your workout continues. You find yourself on set 5 with more energy than you had at set 1 and 2. This means that your able to push harder with heavier weight.

Final thoughts;
Overall it was a great product. I liked the fact that I didn't get a face full of energy right away and it didn't have a huge amount of caffeine to get me all stimmed out. Another great thing that I didn't mention before is that there was never an energy crash and I didn't have any issue will sleep. The only thing that was kind of a con, was that the pumps seemed to only when I ate a good meal prior. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but during my cut phase it kind of was a downer since I wasn't eating a ton of calories. I would probably try this product again through my bulk phases to see if the results change. (starts Aug 1) I feel like my workouts were more effective while running this product due mostly to the stamina increase that I got throughout the entire log. Again this is far and away the best product I have taken for increased stamina throughout my workouts.

I have already recommended this product to a number of friends to try. Especially those whom are looking for something that doesn't hinder sleep and are looking for long lasting energy throughout their workouts. In fact, I gave away both trial packs that I had received in the mail, and gave away a few scoops from my own stash.

I recently had the pleasure to try powermax pwo. I have to say right away i liked the flavor. It mixed up very easily with no clumping or grit. After about 15 min the rush came in. (In a good way). I expierienced a very good mind to muscle connection. Over all good focus and pump with clean energy and no crash feeling. 4/5

I got to try a sample and I must say I enjoyed it.

Taste was ok 7/10
Clean energy 8/10

I might get a tub and run it soon

Clean energy only a 8/10 hahaha, for clean energy and endurance this stuff is premier, what was it lacking??

Are you a fruit punch guy?

It was one sample pack buddy. Different factors come into play. Need to really try it out for a week for a solid review. It was good workout. No complaints.

Yea fruit punch is good

I say mid ranger as It provides energy and pumps in an average commodity but not exactly an excess. Which for me was awesome as I wasn't looking for something to crack me out, but I needed a decent pump. Added another Arginine to this one for an added boost which was awesome.

Taste 4/5: Good taste, it does make you squint a little but not one to make ya sick at all

Effectiveness 3/5: Hit me about 20mins later and the energy is good. I liked the boost it provided and as soon as it came it left so great for the evening lifter. Wish It had a little more to the pumps but I added just a little bit of NO3 Chrome and it blew my biceps to great vascular volumes.

Value 4/5: I got 2 samples in the mail, but plan on adding a tub to my stash as a lower stim alternative.

Overall 4/5:
I would actually buy this product, it does exactly what you want it to do and additional add ons in terms of extra energy or pumps are cheap enough to make this an diverse use supp.

Taste: 3/5. Decent. Fruity, but in a chemically way. A little aftertaste. This area has the least weighting for me.

Mixability: 5/5. No issues, no clumps, no sediment. As good as it gets.

Content: 2/5. All of the typical PWo ingredients are here – Creatine, Citrulline, Tyrosine, Caffeine, Taurine, etc. However, Performax has them all (except a few vitamins) in one 5g (label says 4940 grams!) proprietary blend. Not knowing what doses are in the product, particularly the stims, is very concerning to me, as I work out at night.

Effectiveness: 4/5. Although I didn’t dare go above 1 ‘scoop’ (1/2 package), as all 4 of my workouts with Powermax were at night, I was not disappointed. Good focus, energy and endurance. One thing that went completely different on 2 of the 4 workouts. I don’t always time my rest periods, but I was motivated to keep them all to 1 minute. However, I was so focused during those 2 workouts that I went back to my next sets under 30 seconds each time – very interesting and very powerful.

Price: 4/5. I like to see <$1 per serving on PWOs, and I found it for $30-35 for 40 servings most places I looked. I am willing to pay more when all doses are disclosed.

Final Review: 3.5/5 Powermax is too effective to rate as low as a 3, but I can’t bring myself to bring it up to a 4 when everything is in a prop blend.

Thanks for the review man! We found that two scoops was enough to give people lots of good clean energy without any crash or trouble sleeping. If a prop blend is giving you great results, I don't see the reason in lowering the score. But you each their own and thanks fir the honesty!

Thanks for the review man! When you get a tub, try two scoops. Lots of users report great pumps from that. Could you throw a number review up so it will count on the site.

Tried it only once as a sample and enjoyed it very much. I think two scoops is where the fun is. But one scoop was good in all aspects

this review is for Performax's Powermax preworkout

overall this product did exactly what it said. it kept me focused in my workouts, it gave me energy to want to do more with them but it didn't jitter me up like a lot of them do. I could take this before bed and not be bagging off the walls .

taste was a little on the sweet side but in the end I not looking to drink this stuff for dinner or through the day. I feel personally that if companies focus on making there products taste great why don't they just make Kool Aid . these are supplements guys they shouldn' t taste awesome . I had one guy that owns a supps store nearby give me his assessment of another preworkout and he said it was awesome but it tasted like "ass" and indeed it did!

I would suggest take some of the sweetener out and you have got the total package . for me this was the best I have take overall. I am stim sensitive due to high blood pressure so I really have had to shop around and waste a lot of money to find one that does it all . this one does.

got very vascular during all my workout using Powermax. I said that several times during the log. Arms , chest and shoulders even legs had veins popping everywhere. now I am not the skinny guy buy no means I am very tight in my arms and shoulder area but I had a vein come out in my abdomen and there is no six pack there! at least not yet. want to let who reads this know I am turning 52 in 14 days so for someone my age to get the goods from a product is saying something. I used to be tired as hell after work every day but I hit the iron right after for an hour hard as any young guy in the gym. so believe me when I say you need to try this one out , you will not be let down. it will be in my arsenal from here on out.

Great job on the product to the company. Thanks to Nickscox15 and adizzle1 for following along. need anything from me in the future or beta logging let me know. I am your man. Sincerely Bo .
