Picked up a couple sample packs at a powerlifting meet.

Taste: 5/5
Don't really mind if a product tastes bad, but performax hit the nail on the head here. Tastes just like kool aid, or hawaiian punch..

Mixability: 4/5
Had a couple dark colored floaters, but they of course were no problem. Didn't notice any foaming or anything.

Energy: 4/5
I'm pretty stim tolerant, so I usually don't feel much from pre's unless there's 1,3 in it. However, I noticed some clean energy within 15 minutes of drinking my pre workout. It's good, but not good if you're looking for that 1,3 cracked out feeling.

Pumps:
Can't comment on this, I'm a powerlifter so I don't train for a pump..

Focus: 5/5
This is where powermax really shines. Adizzle had told me that the product gave intense focus, and that wasn't an understatement. Tunnel vision, I enjoyed it.

Performax is really setting themselves up to be very successful in the future. I met a couple of the reps and one of their athletes, and everyone was really kind. They were handing out free samples and even had pre mixed bottles ready to go if any of the competitors wanted to sample powermax there. Hats off to these guys.

Here is my Final Review.

Taste: 9.5/10
I am not the biggest fruit punch lover on the streets, but this is definitely the most drinkable fruit punch that I have tried to date. Not tart, not too sweet. Really good flavor. But it is still fruit punch, so it gets a 9.

Mixability: 10/10
It mixes very easily, almost by itself. Has absolutely no residual particulates or floaters. Also usually gets a little clumped in the tub, mostly from bouncing up and down in my back pack or vibrating from riding my Harley! All you have to do is give it a quick shake or stir it with the scoop, and you are ready for action.

Value: 10/10
At 40 servings for 29.99 makes this an unbeatable deal. I have a high stim tolerance and 2 scoops of this stuff was absolutely perfect. For those that have a normal stim tolerance, you will get 40 true servings from this tub.

Pump: 10/10
THIS IS THE BEST PUMP THAT I HAVE EVER GOTTEN FROM A PRE-MIXED PRE-WORKOUT SUPPLEMENT. The ingredient profile is phenominal. Creatine, Agmatine Sulfate, L Citrulline, propionyl L carnitine, taurine, glycine, and a stim matrix that gives this stuff amazing energy, which leads me to...

Energy: 10/10
There is something about Powermax that made my life complete. That sounds cheezy but hear me out. I would take my2 scoops before the sun came uo, knock out a 1-2 hour workout, then head to work. Sometimes I would do another workout without having to take anymore. I would never crash later, and I always had extra energy ALL DAY! It is almost like this stuff was made to be like a 10 hour energy drink. Seriously. I owe it to Powermax that I made it through the Best Ranger Competition this year (working as a medic, not competing) without losing my mind from lack of sleep.

Focus: 10/10
The focus with this product was incredible. Laser like mental clarity, execution of the task.

(can you tell that I LOVE this Pre-Workout?)

Conclusion:
This Pre-workout was carefully designed to be one of the best. It is apparent that Performax knows what they are doing and put a great deal of time into the research and quality of this supplement. I encourage anyone and everyone to grab a tub and try it yourself for as lon as that tub lasts. I am absolutely certain that you will draw very similar conclusions as I did. You will not regret it.

I will be a PowerMax customer for good. Sure, I will use other pre-workouts. But only when I am cycling off of creatine. Did I mention that it has a full serving of creatine per scoop?

Go get you some!!

Great Product here got 2 sample packs last week took one right away to get my day going taste was great, fruit punch is always a favorite of mine and this was right on it was strong so dont skimp on the water. It mixed pretty good was in my shaker so I couldnt see how well exactly but there was not much left after I was done. Energy was great I took 2 servings in the AM to get my day going and it did started to wear off by mid afternoon but no crash so I took another serving before I hit the gym and they kept me going for my workout. Overall a great product and will buy when I get my next stimmed preworkout.

Having never used a pump preworkout before, this opened my eyes to what I was missing.

Taste: delicious! Literally the best tasting fruit punch flavor next to the sugary kool-aid alternative. No need to shoot it back like bad liquor. This I actually took my time with and sipped on for about 10 mins before heading to workout. It was quite enjoyable! 10/10

Mix: proprietary but seems to be adequate in all aspects of focus, energy, creatine and flavor. Almost doesn't need a spoon! Small serving size but packs a punch! 9/10

Pump: holy sheeet. Loved it from the first sample to the last. I was loving the visual aspect of how engorged everything became after throwing back some weights. Definitely the agmatine sulfate at work. 10/10

Endurance: no listed BCAAs but easy thing to change! Enjoyed the creatine which aided in recovery between sets. This is not specifically an endurance product but can stand alone. 8/10

Postworkout: appetite was a hit or a miss after a workout. Some days I was f-ing hungry as hell, other days I couldn't eat for 2 hours after my workout due to nausea. Not a terrible thing. Though little to no DOMS. For that, 8/10

Overall 9/10. Will definitely put in an order for the summer

Like many others, I received my sample of Powermax in the mail a few days ago from Adizzle1. At the time I was on a 2-week break from preworkouts in general so I waited a few more days to test it out. Well here is my review:

Taste: In all honesty I would have to say this is the best tasting preworkout I've ever hadIMO. Sweet fruit punch flavor but I'm not talking sugar filled Kool-Aid type of sweet. This was a very pleasant type of taste. Light in texture but great flavor.

Mixability: Not even sure if that's a word but this mixed extremely well. I used half of a packet (1 serving) with about 8 ounces of water. Not much to say here besides the fact that it mixed completely with no residue or anything left over.

Focus: I took Powermax probably 10 minutes before I left for the gym. I usually take my preworkouts relatively close to when I leave for the gym just because my warm up takes at least 15 minutes. Therefore, I want the focus aspect to hit me while I'm in my working sets. I honestly can't even pin point when exactly the focus hit me. All of a sudden I was ripping through sets and I had to take off my headphones because I was already too pumped up and the music was practically over-doing it. I don't know when I've been that focused at the gym aside from today. Definitely something I have to give credit to Powermax for.

Energy: As I said previously about the focus aspect, I guess the energy just all of a suddenly hit me. I honestly don't even think I consciously recognized it. I went from slowly working set by set to all of a sudden I kind of forgot there were people around me at the gym. I was just in a zone. And it's not the type of cracked-out energy that's from ridiculous amounts of stimulants. It was just pure. It wasn't that my energy was over-powering my focus. My energy and focus were there together. Definitely one of my best workouts I've had in a very long time.

In conclusion, I can't act like I'm going to get better results from a different preworkout. What works, works. And for me, its definitely Powermax.

Had a chance to sample two packets, and here is my review.

1. Taste: this stuff tastes really good. Now I don't really care myself what a PW tastes like, as long as it works, but it is a bonus to have it taste good.

Focus: has decent focus, on par or better with most PW's, just not on the level of something like Craze.

Energy: I get plenty of energy from PowerMax, no problem pushing through a couple tough workouts.

Pump: This is where this product shines, great pumps on this product, one of the best I have had in this area.

Overall: I gave it a 4/5 stars(Craze is the only 5/5 I have had), it is better than most, and I would have no problem using this in the future as a change of pace, for my current PW.

I have been using Craze pretty much since it came out. I do cycle in some others here and there, Craze is just my go to PW. I still think PowerMax is a great product, and as for the pump aspect, it has no equal.

Taste 3/5 slightly cough syrup tasting but definitely not unenjoyable. Overall id have no problem drinking it regularly.

pump 4/5 - super close to enhanced/condensed/hemavol but the added nitrates in the first two and the other goodies in hemavol make those just a tad better. But by no means take powermax lightly, it will definitely hit you with pumps hard as everyone has said.

Energy 4/5 nothing insane but with just the caffeine I wasnt expecting anything crazy. provides a smooth pick me up. No jitters/cracked out feeling which I like a LITTLE bit.

Mixability 5/5 no issues here at all

Overall 4/5 this is a great pre and is probably in my top tier of preworkouts that I've tried. There's a good chance I'll snag a tub of this at some point to add to my rotation. Does everything you would want from a pre and really excels in the pump department.

My initial thought about the taste was the exact same as i said in my own review. Use more water, at least 16 oz for two scoops and it really is like kool aid . I put in a short review with about 12 oz for 2 and didnt like the taste very much. Ive since changed my mind at 16 to 18 oz for 2 scoops.
 
Yea it was designed for 8oz per scoop and i agree 16oz of cold water with Powermax and its very refreshing and actually quite light.

We wanted to make sure it was light and fresh and not overly syrupy and sweet, but make sure and use 8oz per scoop!

FIrst off I would like to say thanks for the Free Samples!
My Opinion on PowerMax.
Tastes great! Pumps were good, but could be alittle more pronounced IMO. Energy was very good and clean, with no crash. I felt very good on this product. This product delivered everything I want out of a preworkout. Overall I would give it an 8.5 out of 10. I am not a fan of products with proprietary Blends, simply because I like to know the amount of each substance that is going into my body. That being said, I would give it a 10 out of 10 if there was stronger pump and no proprietary blend. Great product, I love it!

Ipfielderer thanks a lot for the review. How was your water and carb intake for those days you tried it. I would say the thing most people comment on the most is the focus and the pumps so im surprised the pumps didnt stick out to you!

I agree Adizzle, its great that we're getting so many reviews. Unfortunately a few 5/5 reviews and others have not been taken into account. I think we'd be closer to 4.7 with those taken into account. Glad to see that PowerMax has the most reviews out of any Pre-Workout on here!
 
Finally getting this review up, first thanks to Performax for hooking us up with samples. I split the 2 packs into 3 doses. First one was ~1 serving then the last 2 were ~1.5 servings. Ill base it on my last one which was taken about 3hrs ago, also just fyi I had eaten about a little over an hour before taking it.

Mixability- 10/10. Totally dissolved just swirling it in the h2o

Taste- 7/10. Cough syrup-ish but not at all unpleasant, probably would grow on me, I had FP flavor btw. ~1.5 servings in about 6-8oz of water. I usually just throw the powder in my mouth...DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FOR POWERMAX as I tried it lol

Energy- 9/10 Hit fast and steady (even though I had eaten an hour or so before).. I can tolerate stims ok, and still could tell this had kicked in. took it at
635, got on the weights about 750, worked out for 1hr, couldve gone easy 30 more minutes or more, no questions. Also, focus was great, although wasnt many distractions in the gym tonight. Felt like I was in the lifting zone.

Pump- 7.5/10- pretty solid here. Not much of a pump now, post workout, but certainly was full and fairly vascular during light work with bi's amd tri's, which is what I generally base a good pump off of..couldve \been more vascular, thus a 7.5 as opposed to an 8+

Overall- 8/10. Cant gauge too much on endurance so ill not attempt, but other areas are solid. If over long haul it doesnt lose its stim/focus punch, and the price is right, certainly a great pre-W.O option. And, this is comparing it with Enhanced which is what ive been on lately. I would absolutley utilize it again!

I guess mobile really is the way of the future? Of course if you guys could spare a few moments and provide us reviews outside of the AM app, that would be greatly appreciated.

you guys are doing it right , most reviews for any product i've seen. It deff deserves it and needs to be known. I was just trying to get some free samples and wasn't expecting much, but then i looked at the back of the sample and it was packed; creatine mono agmatine, you name it. great blend for sure.

Taste: From smelling it i didn't think it was gunna taste good, smelled like cherry cough syrup. I'm very picky cuz i hate cough syrup, but it actually was pretty good, more of a fruit punch though like it states once you drop it in some water. Mixes very well just make sure u mix it completely, chug it and burped a cloud of dust hahaha..but my fault

Pumps: I have taken a bunch of products such as swoll-n, uncut, rpm, white flood, prodigy, etc you name it. I didn't like swoll-n because i didn't get any effects at first and i hate products that have to build up as PW's. FIRST workout i was doing weight i didn't even know i could do, the drive and determination were incredible, but the biggest thing for me were the PUMPS..THIS IS THEEEE BEST PREWORKOUT JUST FOR THIS REASON i am in love with white flood from controlled labs, but this has become my go to PW. It's impossible to want to use anything else after the pumps and endurance i've been getting.

Not a very known brand, but the reviews will speak for themselves, with the samples going out and people seeing for themselves there's no reason why this company shouldn't jump up in the flooded market of PW's...should be at the top IMO.. try it guarantee it'll kill whatever you're taking unless you like the tingles. but i don't

even take it at work when i need some concentration!..thanks again for letting me sample, deff picking up a tub of this.

Meant to throw this review up a few weeks ago, but I never log on through the computer, and the Mobile app doesn't have all of the options that the computer does. That being said, thanks to ADizzle and Dr. Veritas for the free samps.

Flavor 5/5. Flavor was outstanding. I got fruit punch and it tasted great. No complaints here.

Mixability 4/5. Mixed well but left some gritty stuff at the bottom. No worries, I drink a lot of water so I just added a little more at the end and finished off what was left.

Focus 5/5. Great focus with this product. Much better when using the two scoop protocol rather than the one scoop. I think most people are going to want to go with two scoops.

Pump 4/5. Pump was very good but not overwhelming. I definitely had no issues knowing that this stuff was working.

Energy 4/5. Energy came on slow and smooth, not the sort of smashmouth energy that some PWOs possess. No associated crash either.

Reasons for the 4s...Serving size is one scoop. Packet comes with two scoops. One scoop was not enough for me to recognize the full potential of this formula. I think that this will hold true with most users.
Overall this is a very solid product and I am thankful that I got the opportunity to give it a shot.

This is my final review after running a sponsored log Of PowerMax shout out to the guys at Performax for letting try this stuff out.

Taste: 10/10
I don't really have a between on taste I eight like it or I don't and I judge it a few ways in that respect. One can I drink this stuff EVERY day for how ever long the product will last me. Two is there and negatives that may be something of a downer later IE after taste. PowerMax didn't really disappoint me at all I ran this for a FULL tub any where from one to two scoops only and it tasted great on after taste not to sweet and was like koolaid to me loved it ever time.

Mixability: 10/10
I could poor this stuff in water give it a shack or two and boom no grip no mess nothing couldn't ask for any thing else.

Value 9:10
I only gave it a 9 for one reason because it took to scoops I feel a product should deliver full power in its suggested service and honestly I looked up how much this stuff list for and I will be getting more. So not a down fall in anyway.

Effect 10/10
Ok here is where I will put in some time. This stuff is NOT for a stim junky not even close if you like to be cracked out of you mind of what ever before you work out this will not do that for you . What PowerMax will do for you is give you a nice clean kick in the pants to get you started and hold you though a tough work out. Its got a crazy focus to it and has this ability to for me anyway to just get my in the mood to lift almost zoning me out which I love. Also I think the fact it is not stim heavy makes it better in the respect I took two scoops that it all i needed it never fell off or changed in the energy it gave me. As for pump I am not one to give credit to a pre workout for the pump I get in the gym BUT I will say that while using PowerMax my pump lasted longer and the pump was much easier to get. Another shining point I would like to make in endurance was very noticeably increased while using this product I found that I could push a good bit longer then normal and for a product with out beta alanine in it I find that curious but a nice addition.

Over all 9/10
Powermax by far is a product I would recommend and will be making some thing I cycle into my pre workout arsenal. Its not stim heavy which I like and its got a great deal of focus that adds to the energy it provides.
 
Final review for Performax PowerMax PreWorkout

I would like to start by saying all information concluded below are my own opinions and experiences. In no way, was I paid, or coerced into providing a biased review for this product. This review is based on the recommended 2 scoops.



I'd like to thank Performax and NickSox15 for the opportunity to review and log this product.


My current phase for last 2 months has been cutting. I was given the chance to try out PowerMax. Given that its supposed to be a low-stim, high performance product, I jumped at the opportunity to test it. As we all know most preworkout supplements rely heavily on caffeine for the energy boost. That's all well and dandy but what a lot of people don't realize is that that huge spurt of caffeine energy can convert to cortisol. Cortisol triggers body fat. That's a no no for me right now.

The ingredients are typical of most PWO's, with B Vitamins, creatine, vasodilators, and other stimulants. Another ingredient is Advantra Z. I had to look this up and found directly from the manufactures website that its a thermogenic formula that's supposed to help with energy utilization, and amino acid absorption.

I will break this review down into a few parts here for easier reading.


Mixability: 10/10
Performax easily mixed with smaller and larger amounts of water than required on the label. I was impressed with the grit free texture and was easily indigestible. Being easily mixable made taking double scoops easier will less water.

Taste: 7.5/10
Taste was good. It was a bit like a fruit punch koolaide. It wasn't the best tasting PWO nor was it the worst.


Pump: 7.5/10
The pump with performax seemed to be hit or miss for me. What was noticeable was when I would eat a good large lunch and then took my performax I was getting huge pumps. If I didn't eat as much the pumps were less noticeable.


Stamina: 10/10
One thing that remained constant through the entire log was the stamina increase from the product. I could easily speed hours at the gym and still have the endurance to continue training. I've never gotten that from any other PWO.


Energy: 9/10
The energy I got from this product was different from any other PWO I have taken. First and foremost when they advertise “clean energy”, it really is. You don't get a huge blast of energy to the face right away. Instead, you get slow controlled energy release. This energy kind of sneaks up on you as your workout continues. You find yourself on set 5 with more energy than you had at set 1 and 2. This means that your able to push harder with heavier weight.


Final thoughts;
Overall it was a great product. I liked the fact that I didn't get a face full of energy right away and it didn't have a huge amount of caffeine to get me all stimmed out. Another great thing that I didn't mention before is that there was never an energy crash and I didn't have any issue will sleep. The only thing that was kind of a con, was that the pumps seemed to only when I ate a good meal prior. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but during my cut phase it kind of was a downer since I wasn't eating a ton of calories. I would probably try this product again through my bulk phases to see if the results change. (starts Aug 1) I feel like my workouts were more effective while running this product due mostly to the stamina increase that I got throughout the entire log. Again this is far and away the best product I have taken for increased stamina throughout my workouts.

I have already recommended this product to a number of friends to try. Especially those whom are looking for something that doesn't hinder sleep and are looking for long lasting energy throughout their workouts. In fact, I gave away both trial packs that I had received in the mail, and gave away a few scoops from my own stash.

i will be totally honest. i was looking for a new pre workout to try when i saw the promo for powermax-comic book heroes, so i halfheartedly put in an entry-something about a certain anatomy part of flex from fantastic four.

i really wasn't expecting all that much, but since performax labs was good enough to send me a tub i figured i owed it to them to do a fair and balanced review in the words of o'reily.

i have to admit i was caught off guard by how much i liked powermax. the smooth/clean energy and endurance really impressed me.

it's been a week or so since i finished my tub of powermax, really miss it...time to order more.

btw-no drop off in effects from day 1 to end of tub, very consistant.
 
I just had another top notch stellar workout with PowerMax and the energy is not over powering but
the stamina in the gym is what really makes this product shine.
