What exactly is being accomplished by power lifting and how can it be done properly?

That's a broad question.

Powerlifting is a sport to test your Squat, Bench, and Deadlift. So...that's what's being accomplished. Increasing your 1RM.

How can it be done properly?
-Perfect form/technique
-Properly manage fatigue and recovery
-Have a proper training regime
