Powerlifting While Losing Weight?

Hey fellas,
Just wondering if I could get some input on this. I was thinking about doing Wendler's 5/3/1 program while cutting for the summer and starting a in a couple of weeks. You think this would be effective with a good diet?

For a slow recomp, then yes, but it's hard to add a significant amount of strength while using a normal "cut."
