whats up guys, so im trying to determine if i have an infection. I have had one a while ago. Im using test E twice a week @ 500 a week. Heres my story, last monday i did my first injection in my delt, went fine. Thursday did another in my quad. I know i nicked a vein. next few days, i have had bad pain, swelling, redness, large lump. No runs, fever or seeable injection site.
Needle protocol goes, clean vial with alchol, draw with new syringe, change needles, clean injection site with alchol, then inject. it seems like an infection but i think im pretty sterile with my needles, and if it was the gear why didnt it occur on my first injection. if it is an infection, what is my timeframe before an abcess occurs? and i do have antibiotics on the way. thanks.

Don't diagnose yourself just go see a doctor, you don't want it to turn into sepsis or something crazy. Although in most cases it will be strep or staph, no one should be dosing themselves with antibiotics, you don't know the resistance patterns in your area or susceptibilities and you are only going to hurt yourself in the future because the more you use them the more resistant they become to it next time.

It is worth the small copay to be sure.
