Possible Antibiotic Reaction To PH?

Hey guys. Got a bit of a sore thought and post nasal crap that I couldn't kick. Dr. Prescribed me some Clarithromycin (sp?).

I at the tail end of an Epi and DermaFurry cycle that has been producing awesome gains.

My questions is do you guys think there could be a possible bad reaction between the drugs?

I'm not sure there is any specific data on the pharmacokinetics of methylepitiostanol so giving you an answer would be purely theoretical.

Clarithromycin is a strong inhibitor of CYP3A4 (phase I liver enzyme) and can cause problems with other substrates when taken together whereby it will increase blood levels of the coadministered medication.

It is suggested that the 3-ketone moiety of anabolic steroids creates the affinity for the CYP3A4 enzyme. Methylepitiostanol does have not have a 3 ketone- so theoretically the parent compound shouldn't be influenced by Clarithromycin mediated inhibition.
