Polyethelene vs polysorbate

This may be a stupid question, if it is, I apologize. I have searched and came up empty.

New to home brewing and am planning an experiment with a water based TNE suspension. Recipe calls for PS 80, all the sites I normally use have PEG. Are they interchangeable and why?

PEG is a solvent and PS 80 is an emulsifier. Do not substitute any ingredients if you don't understand what you’re doing. Rather just go step by step as instructed. If not sure and can't find the answer then please ask, much better a redundant question then messing up something that is going into your body.

I hate having to ask questions like that, but also know it is important to get it right with this subject. Must be losing my mind, I couldn't find the PS at Lemelange untill you linked me. Again, thanks.

It's not capitalized.

I did that for emphasis. :trout:

The monomer to make the polymer is ethylene.
