Let me know how I can help fellas!
Ill get the ball Rollin.....what's your thoughts on protein and carbs immediately post workout compared to just protein?Let me know how I can help fellas!
Good debate topic.Thoughts on intermittent fasting vs smaller frequent meals? Or both of those vs. my technique of "eat when I'm hungry."
I'd like to hear this topic brought up in more detail too.Thoughts on intermittent fasting vs smaller frequent meals? Or both of those vs. my technique of "eat when I'm hungry."
I believe that most of us have done very well eating 5-7 solid meals per day, starting with breakfast and then eating again every 2-3 hours after. Many an incredible physique, both natural and enhanced, have been built using this basic and time-tested methodology. Hell, I built well over 100 lbs of drug free muscle doing it like this and compete at 210-220 lbs at 3.5-4% body fat...again, drug free.Thoughts on intermittent fasting vs smaller frequent meals? My pleasure. Anytime friend!Amen brother! Thanks for taking the time to reply.
When approaching muscle hypertrophy we MUST understand that their are multiple pathways that lead to its fruition. No single rep range or training method is optimal, but rather a well-thought-out combination of protocols is necessary. Yes, chase the pump/burn some days and others lift heavy and others move the weight quickly and still others slow it down. VARIATION! Have you heard of my POWER/REP RANGE/SHOCK AND FIBER DAMAGE/FIBER SATURATION TRAINING PROGRAMS?Training in high rep ranges. 15/20/25... Higher volume & chasing the pump and burn.
What are you thoughts on DOMs?
What are you thoughts/feedback on that stated above?
Thank you and I' dont think I'm familiar w/those programs. Got any details? When approaching muscle hypertrophy we MUST understand that their are multiple pathways that lead to its fruition. While DOMS is not 100% necessary in order to see new growth I DO believe it should be experienced to some degree to tell us we have damaged muscle fibers that will need to be repaired.
I think I am going to post them up in the training section and I will link you to it once I do.Thank you and I' dont think I'm familiar w/those programs. Got any details?
I'd be interested in this. I enjoy it from a powerlifting perspective but am not sure if it has merits for the sole purpose of aestheticsThoughts on using chains during your lifts? Specially the bench?
Thanks so much neighbor!!Fantastic thread,
And very interesting and informative answers.
Thank you, and welcome to the boards.
Peace
Excellent tool for powerlifters and athletes. For bodybuilders something that can be thrown in now and again just to mess with your CNS a bit and make training interesting. Personally I have never used them in my OWN training.Thoughts on using chains during your lifts? Specially the bench?
To piggy back this question, what are your thoughts on using EAA's + Carbs post workout then eating a whole food meal with protein and carbs 30 minutes later?Well thank you my friend for jumping in! My thoughts are that carbs and proteins should be combined post workout for sure, but the amounts and types of carbs used need to be adjusted to be in line with your overall goal at the time.
I have been using PRRS for close to 11 years now, along with Eric's other training system FD/FS....Remarkable gains in size and strength!!! Props Brother!!LINK TO PRRS THREAD: anabolicminds.com/forum/training-forum/217588-original-power-rep.html#post3706767

No reason to use d-test with paragon just stick to paragon 1 caps split up 3 times a dayEric, could you lay out a good stack/run with PNI's D-test and Paragon?
I think this is a good practice, but alternatively you could also do whey hydrolysates/carb immediately post workout and then a meal 30-45 min later. Either will do just fine, although I do like the health/immune boosting qualities of whey biofractions. To piggy back this question, what are your thoughts on using EAA's + Carbs post workout then eating a whole food meal with protein and carbs 30 minutes later?
As was mentioned, no need to run D-Test and Paragon together. D-Test can make an excellent adjunct to any other test booster out there that does not contain D-aspartic acid, while Paragon is a standalone that likely is the most powerful booster currently on the market. For most, 3 caps (1 w meals 1, 3, 5) per day for 4-6 week cycles will work wonders. That said, for guys over 200 lbs, perhaps 4 caps is a better dose.Eric, could you lay out a good stack/run with PNI's D-test and Paragon?

Just wait till you use the PARAGON for contest prep!!!!Awesome! in the next week or 2 I"m actually going to do a 6-8 week run of D-Test then afterward I'll take a few weeks off and move to paragon. Very excited about where these products will take my training and physique!
