I've 2 questions about this:

¿Can it be taken all along the year or it must be cycled?

Should be preferably cycled. About eight weeks on and up to four weeks off. Some might prefer a twelve-week on-cycle, depending on their specific circumstances. The Phyto-Testosterone blend should be able to support the (positive) regulation of a variety of metabolic processes, suggesting that on-cycles of twelve weeks or so might be circumstantially appropriate.

It could also be run longer than eight weeks, by the way, if results remain noticeable.

Certainly.
 
There is nothing wrong with running it year round.

The only reason we recommend cycling it is to maximize the results. We don't know if people will continue to get results past 8 weeks so we recommend cycling it with another anabolic.

It may help with libido, to increase the appetite and overall lean muscle gains.

This is reason to believe it could enhance the gains from your testosterone too since it causes such a strong spike in free T levels.

can someone explain how does phyto testosterone work, and what type of gains both in quality and quantity can you expect from it. thank you

Hey mate,

If you read the post by Jim at the top, the way Invalid Link Removed works is through mimicking the action of testosterone, increasing nitrogen retention, muscle protein synthesis and growth hormone output.

Gains would be very much dependent on your training, diet, recovery and goals. If ran solo, you could easily see a good few pounds of lean muscle mass :D

I read a study that it lowers t4 converting to t3. I'm on my lackberry but its out there. You may find it easily online. Same think with ALA
 
Hmm, would this be a definite no for teens? or would it be alright because it doesn't actually raise T levels, just mimics their effect?
 
AbstractThe effects of fenugreek seed extract on the alterations in serum thyroid hormone concentrations were studied in adult male mice and rats. Simultaneously, hepatic lipid peroxidation (LPO) and the activities of the antioxidant enzymes, viz superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) were examined. Administration of methi seed extract (0.11 g kg body wt.?1day?1for 15 days) to both mice and rats significantly decreases serum triiodothyronine (T3) concentration and T3/T4ratio, but increases thyroxine (T4) levels and body weight. While hepatic LPO and CAT activities were not altered, a significant decrease in SOD activity was observed in both the animal models. These findings suggest that fenugreek seed extract induced inhibition in T4to T3conversion is not peroxidation-mediated and the inhibition in SOD activity could be the result of a decrease in the protein anabolic hormone, T3.pc

Hmm, interesting. Did you know resveratrol does the same thing too, and dozens of other flavones?

The human data on the Fenugreek shows a decrease in BF, so I doubt the effect on T3 (if any) is going to have a negative effect.

It free's up T and appears to have some anabolic effect that does not effect the body's natural product of test.

If I where to recommend any natural anabolic (besides protein) to a young athlete I would say Phyto-Test is one of the safest choices.

The only thing you might have to watch out for is an increase in prolactin levels. If you are running something like TREN (or something that has a gyno risk) you wouldnt want to use it at the same time as Phyto-Test.

1) This study appears to have some serious design flaws. What was used as control? As long as no controls were used (at least, I cannot find any in the text you posted), it would be problematic to reach any viable conclusions regarding the specific and unique role of fenugreek extract in the obtained results.

2) The doses used appear high. Even taking the 0.11gr/kg as a human dose would amount to 11gr of fenugreek extract for a 100kg (220.5lb) human. But because this was a rodent study, the human equivalent may have a significantly different pharmacological action in humans. In particular, assuming an upper-range average body weight of 500gr for a mature male rat, the 0.11gr/kg dosing used in the study amounts to 0.055gr (=0.011% of bodyweight) of fenugreek extract per day for the average male rat. Adjusting for body weight alone and ignoring other factors, this would still amount to 11gr (0.011% x 100kg) of fenugreek extract daily for a 100kg (220.5lb) athlete, a dose that is dramatically higher than the clinically recommended supplementation for humans. So, based on this point alone, this study has little explanatory power regarding the pharmacological effects of recommended human supplementation of fenugreek extract.
 
Hey primordial, was kind of more of a question! I thought I had run over a thread here about it not being good because of increase prolactin/gyno or something of that nature! I thought it might be good because you have an increase in free test with an AI! What do ya'll think?
 
6 bromo shouldnt be an issue, but neither is Sustain Alpha and Phyto test from the stack that im about to run ;)

Im generally not a fan of AI's, there are better ways to boost total test.

If you are worried about prolactin issues (which Im not and have been using TestoFEN ~ 3 months), you can always supplement with B6 or some l-dopa.

no AI needed, you just wouldn't want to add something to a phyto stack that has a risk of gyno

I don't recommend AI's for PCT... is that what you are talking about?

Thanks for the advice guys! Eric no not in PCT! Just solo run together! Heard AI's such as Form/6-bromo to provide good strength gains by themselves or with a more "natural" stack but yea definately not for PCT!
 
I want to add this to the Asteroid stack, right after a PH cycle. Overkill or even more synergistic? Ive also got 3 bottles of TNA im waiting to use.
 
I'm def going to give Phyto-Test a run, but I am going to be using TestoPro first. We'll see which I end up liking better.
 
I want to give this a run, my only concern is gyno (I am very very prone to gyno ) should I be worried at all running this solo ? And I mean very prone to gyno

From my understanding and from what I've read, gyno won't be a worry with this.
